While buying wine at Kroger yesterday the cashier told me that I did not look my age. I used to immediately take this to mean that I looked younger than my age, but with all of the gray in my beard and mustache can I still make this assumption?

I think beards always make the wearer look older, unless you can make that ZZ Top look work like Bob!

There needs to be some exercise tonight- while cutting the grass is good for a bit, it won’t keep the lbs away.

Debbie has a new cast that she can walk in for a bit. We swapped back vehicles because she missed her truck. And I didn’t need to be driving 85 miles a day with that beasts’ gas mileage.

I just said to Allan last night – we need to look into getting another car, he doesn’t need to be driving his Tundra all the time. That gas mileage isn’t good at all. But – we may wait until towards the end of the year -right now the Moto is getting some use. (no rain ever is good for that).

I don’t think I can get approval to ride the scooter to work. And I’m big about “All The Gear, All The Time”, so would have to carry work clothes.

Always give the benefit of the doubt and accept kindnesses when offered. Separately, thinking that you’re old is gonna drive you to an early grave…self-fulfilling prophesies and all that.

Finally used the cast iron wok we got from Condo’s estate sale last night – made some green beans and then some baby bok choy in a garlic sauce to go with some steaks.
Since we now have a gas stove top that can get hot enough, we just might have to use that more often. (I have to say the bok choy was as good as Tasty China’s, the green beans – we weren’t trying as hard, so they weren’t)
