Yesterday was a frustrating day for me. Still not sure what I am going to do about a lot of things in my life…

Hoping to make today better, and that yours is a happy and healthy one.

Tuesday Tale of the Tape: 185.0 pounds (-0.4 from last week’s weigh-in); I was hoping my hard labor would magically shed more weight, but I did over indulge indulge this week.

Days Without an Amazon Purchase = 13 (though I came very close to resetting the count yesterday)

Hang tough brother- days without alcohol, 13!!

Brownie has been eating and seems to be feeling better. Nicole’s experience with these balance issues is good time and bad times with increasing numbers of bad times. We’re on the expensive antibiotic again, but have the cheap one to go to after this runs its course. As Debbie said, “He’s such a proud boy…”- we won’t have him suffer, that’s for sure.

A bike ride, a trip to the grocery and Debbie’s delicious chicken alfredo for dinner was the sum total of our evening.

  3. Thanks Bonnie and Steve.

Although you’d not know it from my weekend reporting, yesterday I became completely unmotivated due to a combination of cold/rainy weather, the struggle with my dumpster decision (odd, an AT&T truck is on my street, I should bribe the worker to raise my phone line. Nah, don’t have the guts nor skills to pull that off), etc.

In addition to my well-documented health struggles, I am also dealing with some other personal issues that I need to conquer.

Another thought about the dumpster- you could see if the neighbors want to join you in a spring cleaning dumpster fill… get a nice 30 yard and leave it parked on the street.

    • Perhaps. My brother had what may turn out to be a winning suggestion — calling 1-800-got-junk. This may be cheaper than renting a dumpster (I was quoted about $330 yesterday by the dumpster company), and the workers will be responsible for getting the carpet from the back yard into their truck. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I will get a quote for them to take away the carpet, and about thirty or so drop ceiling tiles.

  5. Starting to wonder if I have too many devices using my aged Apple WiFi router. I am nearly giving myself an aneurism yelling at Siri to successfully play a certain album on my living room HomePod Mini speakers.

Do I need to bring my Wireshark and fix your wireless?

    • Perhaps some day before I give up and start looking at new hardware. Before we get there one of the basement projects is to relocate the main WiFi router and run some cables to devices currently using WiFi. Obviously devices like my HomePods, iOS devices and thermostat can never be connected via wires. One of the few assets of the ITP Estate’s construction is easy access for wiring when the suspended ceiling is removed.
