I needed a day of relaxation and a day for getting some things in order, so that’s exactly what I gave myself yesterday. I poked around in WLF long enough to harvest some vegetables for lunch. My desire to rest carried over into the afternoon when I decided to pull the plug on going to the Moonlight hash last night.
I don’t expect to do a heck of a lot today. I have heard that Davey is doing a walk in Lullwater Park at 11am, but Aas of now I doubt that I will have myself in order to make it out today.
I will be watching the season finale of “Only Murders in the Building” tonight.

Good morning from a recovering Highland Games slave. I’ve run out of superlatives describing the weekend, but lets just say a good time was had by all. The week in general was pretty successful, considering a pretty complete field redesign going in. A few things we had to adapt on the fly were handled well and most of us are still speaking to one another. As the front came through Saturday, we lost a few tents- one decided to wrap itself around a tree, but no one was using it at the time. From the main reviewing stage during opening ceremonies, the “bowl†surrounding the parade field was filled with people and it worked exactly as designed. It was all back in the box by 4 yesterday, after a pretty good Sunday night strike party.
I think today has me sitting on my ass a lot- maybe on a motorcycle and maybe on a bicycle.

Welcome back! I posted a Jim Galloway commentary on the games for you yesterday.
I saw that and while I respect JG, I’m not sure the overt racism is still in the Games- if it ever was. I hope we are just a bunch of folks who enjoy the culture.
Next Tuesday I am going to Jackson Associates to pick up some paper towels that I am to use in my house for a week. $35. Better than nothing.

Looking out on WLF at 10am and seeing that the sun no longer goes above the trees, so things are quite shady. I suppose I will have to lower my fall/winter growing expectations. 😢
Set up one or more beds in your front yard. That’s what I do.
I might try that, but some idiot planted shade trees in the front yard about twenty years ago. Of course, that idiot was me.
It might be a solution when the leaves fall.
At a doc appt, they got me right in, even though they said the doctor was delayed. We will see how long I sit back here in this exam room.
And- nothing wrong, just a check up & a way to get the ppwk needed to go get a mammogram. (It is breast cancer awareness month to remind me)
I think I need to find a doc that isn’t here by the Kennestone hospital, I hate parking decks (& paying money to park)
