I solved today’s Wordle in six attempts; my starter today was BASIN. Ugh, I barely pulled that one out of my ass.

I’ve stopped after 2 and will let it marinate.

I’m basing out of Joe’s this morning for a couple hours to do some writing.

Wordle in 5 and had to throw some things against the wall to see what would stick!

Despite my best efforts, I’m still VP of the Games. It was as good a year as we’ve had it quite a while, so we get to do it all again.

Since I had a half day to burn, I’m just on the way in. It’s tough getting home at 10:30 and getting back up at 5. I might make this a routine on meeting days.

    I’m rooting for Morocco today!

  3. In from ninety minutes of outside work — leaf raking, WLF puttering — before any rain falls today. My Apple Watch seems unimpressed, however, and recorded nine minutes of “work” and 200 calories burned. Sadly I didn’t work hard enough to warrant a mid-morning snack.

Last night went & met some friends at the Telephone Factory Lofts – (always fun parking there, need to scan the QR code, put in the resident’s code info & decide how much time you need (1 hour, 4 hours, etc) & hope to not get booted! The car next to me got the boot – and I was worried, as I never got the email confirmation when I registered.
We walked down the Beltline to Brew Dog for some dinner & a beer. I guess Brew Dog just opened – what a huge space – I can just imagine the rent! Didn’t really have enough staff, (we considered leaving) but our server (Once she got to us) was excellent – so, overall it wasn’t a bad experience.

From time to time I’ll go to Ponce City Market, and I always park on Ralph McGill and walk down the Beltline to get there instead of navigating the shitshow of a parking deck, especially this time of year. I generally can always find street parking. Sounds like you walked the other way to Krog Street.

    • I don’t think Brew Dog is lacking funds, they seem to be a massive brewer.

Speaking of recent openings, I want to visit Schoolhouse Brewing’s second location — The Gymnasium — at Emory Point sometime soon.

Wordle in 4 – but – I couldn’t wrap my brain around it – so I had to use the google.
Mini has not been good for a while.

    • David says:

I put myself out of my misery with a Wordle fail. I finally got one letter in the correct spot after 5 tries and that just wasn’t enough runway.

I haven’t had the bandwidth to do the Mini lately and I’m weeks behind on the normal crossword. I’ll get back into a flow at some point.

Joe’s was productive enough. Headed back to my desk to wrap things up. Plus now they’re playing a sappy country song which is a surefire way to get me off of their couch. They were playing Miles Davis earlier which makes this ear bleeding song even worse.

Survivor finale is tonight – no time to watch it until next week.

We are going to George’s tomorrow night for a AFR EMS “Christmas” get together.
the Doc that all the EMS works under live in VAHI – so he gets to pick the spot.
Guess I’ll be getting some cheese curds!

  7. Debbie Brady says:

Wordle in 4 starting with GLOPS.

January 3rd cannot come quickly enough. And I’d really like for this rain nonsense to let up.
