Got distracted often by my jigsaw puzzle yesterday and didn’t get nearly enough tasks accomplished. I did manage to construct the raised garden bed that was delivered yesterday. I was hoping to get it installed today, but don’t know if I am feeling ambitious enough to make a trip up to Lowe’s to buy the necessary items to complete the project.

I solved today’s Wordle in four attempts; my starter today was TRAMP

Wordle was about to piss me off this morning. In 5, after have 4 out of 5 in the right place in 3.

Debbie’s truck started for me when I got home yesterday, while my scooter is still having issues- which may be a bad battery. More testing is ahead.

And on top of everything else- plumbing issues at home which were significant enough to send me to work for a shower this morning. Ugh.

    Foggy as F this morning.

Steve, I had exactly the same experience, 4 letters out of 5 in 3 attempts starting with GROSS (a reference to something that I cannot unsee from yesterday by way of someone with a really twisted sense of humor). It took 6 to close out Wordle, I was just throwing random letters in that 5th spot until something worked.

Thought maybe David was giving us a clue so I started with Cruel. Wordl in 3. Just a lucky guess of the right 5th letter. Roofer came and gave an estimate. They will just lay down new decking and replace shingles in the area of the leak. So not too bad…but they are 1.5 weeks out…so hopefully no rain until then. Planning to go ITP for a birthday bash with Barb tonight. Trails were sloppy at Kennesaw last night for our weekly GUTS run at the mountain.

Wordle in 5 – none of your hints – that were not hints worked.

We decided to make egg drop soup last night – it isn’t hard, it just isn’t something we’ve ever decided to make. It was good, but I felt it needed a little something spice wise. We did not use MSG (wasn’t going to the store to buy it), so maybe that was it?

Went for a walk around the ‘hood, I saw on NextDoor that a tree had fallen on a house, so we went to check it out. (& bought a lottery ticket since there was a gas station nearby). Tree was all removed, and the brick seemed to hold up well, so it didn’t look as bad as I thought it might.

  5. Kicked myself in the ass and went to Lowe’s, not now to get that raised bed in place. Wish me luck!

Last night was one of 3 non-sequential nights without Finn in a two week span, so we went to Harry & Sons (now Ocean Wave) for dinner and then started watching Only Murders in the Building. It’s pretty good!

Oh, thank you for reminding me about that show. I loved it but we stalled out on it a couple of months ago. I’ll pick it back up.

    • Barb says:

Is it season 2 or 3? We only watched season 1 so far.

We watched the 1st 2 episodes of Will Trent last night. Supposedly takes place here in ATL. I’m not sure about it yet, Allan thinks it will be ok.

      • Barb says:

I’m also rewatching Dead to Me from the beginning, before I watch season 3.

        • Jenka says:

I did the same before watching season 3. Love that show, sorry that it ended.

          • Barb says:

I do really enjoy Dead to Me, I’m almost done with season 2, since its only 10 1/2 hour episodes, it goes by so fast. I’m ready for the new stuff now.

      • David says:

Oh, interesting. That’s based on a series of books by Karin Slaughter. The books are very much set in Atlanta, and it’s wild when the characters are riding down Boulevard or Ponce. The books are very good, and there’s a number of them. Will Trent doesn’t show up in all of her books, but I particularly liked the ones where he does.

      • Jenka says:

I believe they are currently filming season 3 of Only Murders. Meryl Streep and Paul Rudd will be in it, SQUEEEEEEEE!

Never heard of Will Trent. What platform is it?

Wordle in 5 starting with AISLE.

Since my truck wouldn’t start for me yesterday, I called neighbor Uber to a birthday lunch party and did some mild day drinking. That shot the rest of the afternoon.

Back to the grind today. It’s a great day to be at a computer rather than outside.

    • Barb says:

It doesn’t look all that nice out there, but I need to run to the grocery store (I think, if I get motivated) at lunch. I think I need gas too.
