It has been a busy week. Yesterday I made a trip up to Cobb County to visit my dentist for X-rays and cleaning, thankfully all checked out.
Last night I made my return to group bike riding by joining the Melton’s App & Tap twenty-mile ride. As to be expected due to my lack of riding since December I struggled, but at least I did it.

A fairly boring day in the office yesterday. I just saw one our law enforcement officer friends and she was in civies, on what I thought was her normal day off. When I hugged her, she was still packing and had on a vest and I asked her what she was doing. She’s escorting some contaminated currency to be destroyed off site. I didn’t know we did that, or maybe I never thought about it…
Went to dinner at the soon to be closed Johnnie’s Pizza. The story is the owner is retiring and couldn’t find anyone to take over the franchise. He’s selling the building, which will become a Mexican restaurant. yippee.

In my experience it gets easier whether you lose weight or not.
I agree, the legs need to be conditioned. Climbing will be easier with 10-15 fewer pounds.

Volunteer appreciation fair tonight for the Watershed stewards. Way behind on getting my third room cleaned out. Purging and deep cleaning one room a month. Otherwise nothing too exciting going on. Went to the Hawks game last night with my bestie Sarah. She got amazing seats close to the court. We went early and hung out and had food. Great game! I was too wired to go to bed immediately when I got home so I am tired today.

Flight leaves gatwick just after 11 our time. I’m already tracking it.

my friend that live in St Croix, he works at an animal shelter there – they are always looking for people to escort dogs to the states. You really can do that if you want. (no pay though)
She is coming as freight.
And the flight should leave ONLY 35 minutes late.
Do you they cover the airfare? Or you have to pay your own way to St. Croix and back to have a puppy in your lap?

Yesterday I got a weird $20.10 Avis Toll charge on my credit card. I called them this morning – we saw nothing in AZ that said anything about tolls on any road. It was from 3/7 10:19am in WA. (our rental was parked at the Sedona hotel at that time). We did have a Washington license plate on the car. So – they are going to credit me.
That was a new one……..
Good on you to pay attention. I think part of their business model is to throw shit at the wall and see what sticks.

I have the alerts on my phone, so when it came over I was like – what??? So, trying to find & dig out hte ppwk to get the phone# to call. But – it got solved with the 2nd phone#
I disable most alerts on my phone, but I 100% want to see the credit card alerts.
Have spent the morning in WLF and WLF Annex (aka the front of the house). Planted the last of my seed potatoes, and worked out some frustrations by slamming a mattocks into an old tree stump.
Breaking soon for a shower and lunch, then onto other chores.
Just returned from a far away place called “Stockbridge”. Why? Because I went to an Ollie’s, btw all Ollie’s are slightly different, Lowe’s, and the Aldi on my way back.
