It was not a stellar day yesterday. My depression over my body combined with a few minor other setbacks sent me spiraling down so much that I canceled meeting my buddy Hank for beers. Instead, I filled up the M6 with gas at Kroger (screwing up by only saving 10¢/gal instead of 30¢/gal), and driving a bit around 285 before returning home.
I finished “The Elephant in the Room”. It was a good book, even if it struck a little too close to the bone for me.
Since I can’t drive fewer than four hours to find sunshine and warmth this weekend I will stay at home. I have plenty of inside chores to accomplish, hopefully I can jump all over them and that will improve my mood for next week.

The trailer is ready. A run to the local Luthersville hardware store to buy terminals helped greatly. And I still failed a couple times, finally realizing I was wiring a mirror image (plug vs receptacle). Madam is set to leave at 8, so I had to get r done. Picked up another quarter inch after I was done and made Debbie come rescue me from the mancave with an umbrella.
Should be a quiet day. One meeting to discuss “Workforce of the future”. Oh boy.

it should be a mtn bike trail for part of the trail, but with all the rain, its hard to say, trail may be changing. Tomorrow they (& maybe me too) have to decide what to do, as Sunday morning should be “fun” getting the trail set.
Sunday’s trail is going to be a slop fest. I may ride singlespeed to save my gears.

Busy day yesterday at work. 3rd place at Trivia. Heading to Huntsville sometime today. I usually leave soon to spend some time there but my friend Molly wants to carpool and she can’t leave until 2. ARGH. But it will be nice to have company on the drive. 90% chance of rain on Saturday. Trail promises to be a muddy mess!!

Good morning, friends. Well, I actually signed up for a yoga class yesterday, drove there in the pouring rain, only to find out that it’s hot yoga. There is no way this middle aged lady could ever do hot yoga. So I bailed and took myself out for dinner at Mali instead which was right next door. Could’ve gone to Paulie’s favorite DBA but I wanted dumplings. Seems like every single yoga studio in Atlanta is hot now?! They didn’t even feel the need to mention it on their website!
SUPPOSEDLY the shower glass AND the backsplash are going in today! The backsplash is a continuation of the quartz countertops so it’s one long piece of stone and putting it in is an event. Once that happens we can get the plumbing done and hopefully wrap this fucking project up.
Funny, I considered going to DBA last night because I still have a $5 gift certificate from music bingo last March. I wonder if it’s still valid…

Going to Drag Bingo at Atlanta Hard Cide tonight – there is no food truck, so trying to figure out where to grab dinner before.
