Not much to report from my end.

I did the CVS ride last night. A small group of us rode from Decatur through Piedmont Park and back with mostly no issues. The only strange part of the evening was a homeless man came and essentially set up camp (no tent) right next to us, we were set up neighboring a spot that had a tree and was covered in pine straw, in the parking lot as we sat around drinking. The man didn’t ask us for anything, he really just wanted to lie down, and even asked that if we’d be bothered if he smoked a cigarette near us.

Wordle: three, my starter was LAUGH
Connections: perfect, Green > Yellow > Blue > Purple
Strands: no errors, though admittedly I didn’t know all of the words

Strands was bogus. I used two hints and still didn’t agree on a couple of the words. Took me 6 tries to get Wordle starting with BOWLS. 2 mistakes in Connections: green, blue, yellow, purple. Not a good day for game playing.

Maybe you were hanging out at his usual sleeping spot? That makes you the trespassers! 🙂

Kevin is back to completely fine. We went to Ocean Wave last night and he mowed a whole plate of sushi.

  3. Hehe, I cheated myself this morning, I solved Wordle in three, not in four.

  4. In this episode of “I’ve Got a Secret” the woman’s secret was that she was the youngest grandmother in the country in 1953. From West Virginia, she was married at 14 and became a grandmother at 28. Wowzers.

5 mile hike in the rain done.
What a difference from yesterday weather wise.
It was quite warm yesterday -the Approach trail kicked my ass.
Dinner & breakfast was good, slept pretty well too.
We forgot to pack dry clothes to leave in the car. Oops.

Wordle in 3 starting with SLATE. I’ve gotten Wordle in 3 four times this week so I’m feeling pretty good about life. The other games can suck it.

We’re headed to Lawrenceburg, TN with a horse and two dogs. Steve is driving so you won’t hear from him for a while. I think we’ve run out of the rain now so hopefully the rest of the drive will be easy. We’re on 65 north out of Birmingham now. First Buc-ee’s stop of the day complete. Yummy pastries and breakfast taco made us happy!

  7. Steve says:

    Wordle in 4.

One less horse in the trailer. Replaced with 21 bales of hay in one big bale- that wasnt a trade but a purchase as we’re about out of hay.

Pretty country up this way. Debbie is ready to move, but its still a bit too far out for me.

Please have the rain gone by the time we get back. Thank you very much.
