While WLF is far from a real F, there are times when Farmer Paulie has to deal with a reality of being a farmer — animal death. Once again a squirrel has misjudged its ability to get out of a rain barrel (trash can) and drowned. I have even put a rack over the barrel to discourage them from trying to drink from it, to no avail. Furthermore, the water in which it drowned was now tainted (in my opinion), so I had to dump it into a non-growing part of the yard. When I return from Spring Tune Up I will look for some screening that will make it nearly impossible for critters to get into the rain barrel.

WTF was up with that unpredicted rain last night? Unfortunately this probably means the ground will be wet in Rutledge, not that you camper folks give a rat’s ass. I hope that this is all the rain that falls in Rutledge until after we depart on Sunday.

The City of Atlanta is stop sign crazy again. Yet another intersection in my neighborhood is becoming an “All Way” Stop. Soon in order to drive anywhere we will be forced to stop at every goddamn intersection! For fuck’s sake, stop with the stop signs already!

Wordle: three, my starter was DAILY
Connections: perfect, Yellow > Blue > Green > Purple

  1. Well this fucking sucks, the survey service I use to earn money to pay my monthly iCloud fee, Crowdtap, has deactivated my account without warning! I was informed of this decision when I attempted to log into my account this morning. There is no way to contact them to find out why my account got flagged, so I am just shit out of luck!

    Wordle in 5.

Good last morning from Newark, where it is as dreary AF. A good day yesterday and hopefully I can complete my work before leaving around 3:30.

So here’s the solution for the squirrels in the rain barrel. Like frogs in the pool at JEFDSDR, just provide them a method of escape. A piece of screen attached to the lip would be plenty. The frogs never listened when I told them to stay out of the pool. I probably cut the number of frog fatalities by 75%.

I did abuse the treadmill and spin bike last night and then had to call Debbie to tell her she was so lucky that “Guys and Dolls” was on TCM and she didn’t have to put up with me watching it!!

Wordle in 5 as I was in a hurry. 2 mistakes in Connections for the same reason. Blue, Green, Yellow and Purple. Once again, Strands was easy.

Heading out shortly to make the trek to Rutledge for a fun filled week-end of biking, drinking, eating, laughing and dancing.

Good morning! Big donor meeting this morning that included a full breakfast so I enjoyed eggs, bacon, sausage and hash browns for breakfast. I don’t usually eat more than a bite of anything for breakfast so I may never eat again.

Connections perfect: yellow > green > blue > purple.

    Strands: Perfect, no hints.

We are all set as of about 1200 or so.
Now we are just hanging. I need to work again starting about 1300
