    Kudos on 2.

    4; coupla misses; easy

Wordle in 3…only because I had the two vowels switched around in my second guess. Connections: Yellow, Purple, Blue, Green. Strands was a little tricky for me.

Wordle in 4. Congrats on the deuce.

Last night was a catch up on chore day. Mowing along the driveway. I adjusted the mower deck to actually cut lower and it looks good. It’s supposed to have 4 wheels and just ride along, but 2 of the wheels are bent to hell, so only the 2 back wheels are in place and the PTO holds the front. Guess I need some wheels…

Meet the PT folks today for my back pain. Hopefully they give me some exercises to do to stretch and strengthen.

Got roped into being the pit ref in Hapeville on Friday. We are really shorthanded, especially when one official is running photo finish and another is the promoter.

Hey Bob, if you’re not doing HOA stuff next Tuesday night you may want to hang outside Ameris for the Neil Young show. Rolling Stone gave this tour a glowing review:

I have a 7th row seat, I had planned to go by myself bur now my ex has a ticket so we’re riding (but not sitting) together. That aside, if the show is half as good as that article makes it sound this is going to be a spiritual event for me. It is definitely a bucket list concert for me. “Don’t mind me, I’m just over here weeping with joy.”

    • Bob says:

Heck yeah, I’ll charge up the onewheel and check it out!

      • David says:

Nice! The opening act is some guy named Reverend Billy, who looks like a straight up televangelist, but based upon a quick YouTube skim has some righteous gospel singers backing him. I’m going to trust Neil’s judgement on that. Apparently Reverend Billy also rants about consumerism, and has a particular axe to grind with Disney.

  5. About ten minutes in the garden, and I broke out into a heavy sweat. Ugh

    • On the positive side: I came up with a novel way of netting my tiny corn plant seedlings so that they (hopefully) don’t get destroyed by digging critters or birds mistaken them for worms. Fingers crossed!

We went to Ruby Chow’s for dinner last night, it was only our second time there but it is so good! Their specialty is a ramen noodle dish with a cacio e pepe sauce over a fried pork cutlet. OMG.

This morning I am working at home for a couple of hours and then wrangling my cat Millie to the vet (David — EAAC). She HATES the vet and it is a real hassle because of that.

  7. Barb says:

went to Aldi – if you go 1st thing in the morning – they sometimes have 50% off stickers on more than a few things. Got some chicken – so tomorrow’s Survivor watching dinner will be crockpot mexican chicken.
Allan wasn’t all that excited about Sal’s PB&J idea. 😉

Also got a new rose bush -for $8 – we will see if it does better than my other 2.
I am not a good gardener – I don’t pay enough attention to things – so my 2 are seriously “Charlie Brown (tree) roses” They are so sorry looking, but they never die.

  8. On my way home from Decatur errands I had a lunch craving. So, even though it’s not in the budget I’m getting food at Elmyriachi in Kirkwood.

  9. Jenka says:

Other than getting old my cat is pretty healthy. Yay!

  10. David says:

    Yay!
