It was a warm day in Milledgeville, with only a little bike riding and a lot of beer drinking. Today we head to Swainsboro.
Oh, the Florida house has a contract. I will not celebrate prematurely.

Wordle in 2!
Elton was just as you might expect- Fantastic! He said they hadn’t played since last July, but they were tight. I stood on the floor, about 50 feet from the stage and it sounded great.
Guess I need to crawl out of bed and head to the airport.

How fun!!!
My basement dweller brother invited his kids for dinner last night, told me about 3pm. luckily he supplied most of the food.
My niece’s boyfriend just got his masters in sports training or something like that (works with college athletes) & got a job at the university of Denver. So, they are moving to Colorado. Natalie needs to find a job out there now. I’m very excited for her to get out of Iowa (for at least a little while)
He *supplied* the food or he *cooked* the food? There is a big difference between bringing food home for you to cook and actually preparing it himself.
some of both – he supplied & grilled the steaks.
He gave us potatoes to boil (& mash) & carrots & corn to steam in the bags in the microwave.
It wasn’t too bad really.
Allan is here & did all the dishes after – I so appreciate that.
Not bad at all! Sounds like a nice family dinner!
he started with “what’s for dinner tonight?” I was like – “haven’t really planned much – why?”
IT all worked out- but I was very suspect at 1st.
Safe travels home! Hope you don’t get delayed 9 hours! 🙂
Happy Thursday to everyone! I will have to Google Map the route from Milledgeville to Swainsboro to figure out how long/brutal it is.
We took Finn to Target last night to get all the supplies for sleep away camp next week. We have to involve him so that he has agency in the project, otherwise he’ll freak out about it. Then we went to Surin for dinner.
I was going to make crockpot white chicken chili for dinner tonight but amazingly we have no chicken in the freezer so I am going to have to improvise. I took some Italian sausages out of the freezer instead.
looks like someone has to get to the grocery store.
Usually Kevin gets organic chicken in bulk from Costco, which is the reason why I just assumed we had some. Oops. Putting it on the Costco list…
Italian sausage in the chili sounds pretty good too!
I’m a Chattahooligan failure. I couldn’t keep up with the cool kids, and bailed on doing the century. I did ride 82 miles…
that is not a failure, I would not be upset about not getting a century.
Isn’t it a HOT day today too?
Very hot day.
Wow. 82 miles is AMAZING!
Thanks
