Good, hot, hard ride last night. The ride had one much-needed intermission while a guy changed a his flat tire in Ansley Park. While we stood around we guessed the price of a house for sale. My guess of 2.3 million dollars was only 2.2 million dollars too low! Pity the Florida house will sell for a small fraction of that, though I will be happy with whatever we get.

Well, I guess I am an Amazon Prime member for another year. I forgot to leave myself a note to check when it renewed and make a financial decision on whether or not it was worth it. Yesterday my credit card was charged…

But, at the same time I have placed two orders from Amazon, mostly cycling related items, that I identified as needs recently. For instance, yesterday I tried to put a smaller seat bag on my bike, the one I used to use all of the time, and sadly the Velcro strip which goes around the seat post broke and I don’t believe that I have to skill to fix it. Also sad is that the company from which I purchased it eight years ago appears to have gone out of business.

Hey, it’s the weekend! Other than doing a bit of drinking this afternoon I have nothing on my calendar. Woot! Perhaps I will return to cleaning and decluttering.

Wordle: three, my starter was COVER
Connections: perfect, Blue > Yellow > Green > Purple

  1. Some asshole critter took a chunk out of my spaghetti squash. DANGEN!!!

I wonder if that squash plant you gave me is got anything more than flowers on it…….. ??????

      • I hope so, though this spaghetti squash was way ahead of all other squash plants I put into the ground. I’m not sure if I will try to salvage the squash with a chunk missing, that may be determined on whether the squash scars or rots.

Wordle in 4 and it coulda been 3!

In the office today, as the registers in the cafeteria aren’t taking credit cards. The service provider is in Canada and doesn’t have local support. Our building power down on June 1 apparently gave these terminals fits and we’re still recovering.

Dusted off the scooter last night. I bought a new seat cover and wanted to check it out. Very comfy and will relieve some pain the factory seat causes after an hour or so. Filled the bike so I’m ready to take it to the office tomorrow.

What? How are you going to bring ALL OF THE THINGS if you don’t have that massive seat bag? LOL
Amazon prime is definitely pricey. However, I do most of my shopping on Amazon so the free delivery is cost effective for my family. We also use their streaming service at times too.
Ramble last night and my BRAG legs took a while to warm up but was able to keep up much better.
Tennis match tonight and who knows what sort of shenanigans I will get in to this weekend 🙂

    • Why I aughtta… *shakes fist*

I’m sure that seat bag is slowing me down, and it’s not the massive amount of fat I put back onto my torso over the past two years.

Prime has so been worth it this week getting stuff to hopefully make things with my mom work here at the house.
And Allan orders shit all the time.
The app says I’ve saved $380 in shipping costs this year – that’s more than the annual fee.

ImOn (the cable company) is here trying to fix our cable.
    It keeps freezing & pixelating.
    Good times!

    • Spectrum Cable has probably saved thousands of dollars not having to roll trucks to my mother’s house to “fix” her cable.

      • Barb says:

the guy found a connector outside that is ancient – he switched it out. He also put something on that monitors something. (yes, I really don’t pay attention) We will see – he said to write down if it still is having issues – and especially if it totally goes out or freezes.
He works again Tuesday – he will check some report.

It’s so late that probably none of you will read this. We made it down to Perry just fine last night and had dinner at Longhorn. Camp pick-up this morning was seamless and we were home by 11:30. I did a quick change and went to work. Emory had it’s annual Staff Fest so I got free lunch — Mexican, and it was really good!

I am off on vacation next week, so I am not sure how often I will get to the blog. First Toronto to see the Red Sox play the Blue Jays, then a quick hop to Cincinnati to see the Red Sox play the Reds. Should be fun!
