I have been getting increasingly annoyed by the slowness of virtual page turning on my Kindle. Since my Kindle is over tens years old I considered buying a new one. Out of frustration I rebooted my Kindle and lo and behold, that fixed my issue!

I just read books on my ipad and it has no issues with page turnings.
We went to Kevin Rathbun Steak for dinner last night, they were all shocked that we were there on a Thursday instead of a Friday. We were home by like 7:30 and watched 2 episodes of The Bear because the Sox were off and Kevin is done with the Braves. Today as soon as I can get away from work we are heading up to the cabin for the weekend.
The front porch lightbulb died. Our ladder got stolen about 7 years ago and we never replaced it and have had no need for it until now. So we have to borrow the neighbor’s ladder to change out the porch light. We tried using one of the kitchen stools but even that wouldn’t work.

It’s gotta be like 12 feet up. Kevin stood on a tall kitchen stool and he was nowhere near it.
Another “boring” day here in Iowa/
Worked, went out & hung out with Dad at lunchtime -so Tom could get out & get some lunch, went back after work for dinner & just hanging out.
He was determined to get up & walk, but he doesn’t have the strength, so he gets all ornery, and thinks If I help him, it will work. I gave up having him in the chair, so we got him back into bed. They gave him something, it calmed him down. I hope he slept & didn’t drive them nuts all night.
Is he just generally upset about the move? He will get used to it, hopefully. Does he read or watch TV?
he’s totally in dementia zone – no reading – he can sort of watch TV, but can’t follow any of it really. we usually just put on sports
