Afternoon Delight

And Here I Thought I Would Train…
I am scheduled to do a fifty-five mile bike ride in Cartersville (way OTP) tomorrow. When I signed up for the event I had started riding for the season and thought that I would have many miles on the tires by this time. Anyone who has been keeping tabs on my exercise blog at the bottom will know that I have not been riding in some time. Ooops. Perhaps I’ll start doing a rain dance tonight.

Corndogs, Birthdays, And A Gathering Of Gays
Somehow it’s once again time for The EARL‘s annual Corndogorama! Given my proximity to The EARL and a love for corndogs I just might seen there this weekend.

I’ll also be attending a birthday party for my friend Kat this weekend. I’m bringing an appetizer of jalapenos stuffed with peanut butter. I know, I thought it sounded disgusting too until I tried it.

While I personally don’t have “the gay” I’ve seen the newsletter and know that this is Gay Pride weekend in Atlanta. If I can find the time me thinks that I might be taking the camera around midtown for a good photo opportunity, weather permitting of course.

Anyone Know Of A Place To Buy Tabernacle Tix w/o Getting It Up The Arse?
There is something about paying over $11 in fees for a ticket which costs about $29 that really pisses me off. You guessed it, I was going to buy a ticket via Ticketbastard, but pulled the plug on the deal when I saw the fees.

This is not the first time I’ve balked at the ridiculous fees charged by Ticketmaster, and it probably won’t be the last. So I ask, is there any place to buy tickets for Tabernacle shows without getting fucked?

RTFM,Part 2
Yesterday for lunch I attempted to make Easy Mac (‘n Cheese) with some fake meat.

Atlanta Scavenger Hunt -

I read the directions for the mac ‘n cheese and correctly microwaved it for five minutes. However, I didn’t read the directions for the “meat” and incorrectly assumed it too would take about that long. I was left with a brick of fake meat which I attempted to save by putting in the mac ‘n cheese.

Yesterday’s lunch wound up being a sandwich (after I tossed out the miserable mac ‘n cheese).

Kids, R.T.F.M. or you’ll be eating sandwiches your whole life.

And now for some ideas stolen from LiveJournal…
Current Mood – fair
Current Music – Sirius Satellite Radio, Channel 26 playing Mates Of State — “Fraud In The 80’s”
Website Of The Day – You’ve had a had week. Go blow off some stress playing silly games at Funpods.

If you ever want a quick glance of the sites I’ve picked for my Websites Of The Day, you can check them out on del.icio.us, my user name is InsideThePerimeter (go figure), and they are all tagged as “blogged.”

Exercise (b)Log – nothing

Cheers,
Paulie [eatl/ga]

55 miles in Cartersville – fun, fun!!! Did the entry go to a charity? I should go with you, but I’m drinking beer & eating wings tonight, I don’t see rising early to ride Saturday as a favorable option. Wild Wing in Marietta if you want to join us tonight. AND – I just gotta say, CORN DOGS are the best! Can we bring those to Kat’s party?

I’m sure there is some charity behind it. It was only $25 so if by some reason I choose not to go I won’t be overly annoed.

I thought about bringing corndogs, but I didn’t know if they could be classified as a side dish or appetizer. 🙂

See if you can find out the charity, then you can write the $25 off on your taxes. Every little bit helps.
If they are small corndogs, definitely appetizer.
