Busy Busy

I kicked around the house for a while this morning so that I could get the Jackmobile’s emissions test done on my way in to work today. I probably could have written a blog then, but didn’t.

Good News: Jackmobile passed emissions, I’ll be tooling around in it for another year!

Bad News: I’m not sure my mouth is improving, even with the ingestion of antibiotics.

News: I’m busy, it’s late, I need to wrap this up now.

Starting over tomorrow!

Cheers,
Paulie [eatl/ga]

I procrastinated this year and didn’t get my emissions checked until after my birthday. I don’t care about the late fee, at this point I’m just hoping my new sticker comes before the end of the month! *Biting nails.*

I’m going to run by & get my tag paid soon, the office isn’t far away & there is never a line. Give me somethign to do one day at lunch.

BTW- on a side note – everyone needs to be praying for the people in Colorado, those fires have gotten really scary, an old hashing buddy (from Gainesville, FL) Horse C**t is a firefighter in Colorado Springs – last night they had every available firefighter in the city out working. Allan said he never wants to fight a forest fire & we all know how much he loves fires.

Randy Shafer (International Commisaire) who I want to be when I grow up, posted some amazing pictures of the fires there in the Springs. The USAC offices have closed (they moved away from the Olympic traininc center downtown some time ago) Garden of the Gods is closed, it’s really scary.

I would say a forest fire would be about as bad as a fire could be for a firefighter- changing winds, steep terrain, not much support, and if you lose, then it becomes a structure fire. No thanks.

Allan’s dad is driving whatever vehicle from last week back to the Springs, should be getting there today…. I”m sure he will tell us about it.

  5. Steve says:

Debbie and I wondered if he was going to have to make the trip back with that rig. And they won’t let him drop it at the office, probably at the OTC, which might be where it lives anyway.

  6. Barb says:

and – they told him he ISN’T going to London for the Olympics – if I was him I’d have said….. get that truck back yourself.
