It’s The End Of The… Oh Never Mind

My dental appointment went well yesterday, though I still believe that sooner or later I’ll be back to get that root canal. All other things checkout out satisfactorily however and I left after paying my $188 bill (cleaning, checkup, x-rays, no insurance) and scheduling an appointment for July 1st (that I will try put into my calendar correctly this time).

Another Night At Taco Mac?
Yep, see below.

My coworker Chrissy made it to the Taco Mac Big League last night; she’s now only about 330 beers behind me.
Welcome To The Big League
And she’ll probably kill me if she ever finds out that I posted this photo.

Going to try again today.

My Last Weekend Of Working
I’ve been forced to release my app a week earlier than I had anticipated, subsequently I will be back in the office both days.

Tonight I’ll be spending more time OTP hanging out at the GarageMahal, ITP-Reader Barb’s garage, being festive and gay happy.

Tomorrow night I will be partaking in my now-annual viewing of “A Christmas Carol” at Shakespeare Tavern. I’m not slim enough to wear my “good” clothes but I’ll do my best to spruce myself up for the affair.

Have a wonderful weekend friends!

Cheers!

Allan got no sleep last night, they had a fire & a shooting, and God knows what else. This party is going to be a winging it kind of party. But – those are the best kinds – right?

And – my car they say needs a new heater core, costs way too much, I’ve decided we are going to have to think about it, and ask a friend that is a big truck mechanic & loves & owns old Honda Civics & see what he thinks. I don’t need a defroster – right?

Looking forward to seeing you all tonight.

Barb, winging it parties are usually the best kind. No expectations to meet, hell we all are pretty low maintenance anyway.
I also looked on line for a CRV heater core, only about $75. Only problem is you need to get your car to this state 🙂

  3. Barb says:

I don’t know if the part is the big cost, I think it is the labor involved. Its really hard to get to?
Anyway- I’m going to have Trev (Lot Lizard) look at it this weekend and give me his opinion. Since he is the expert on 90 Civics – figure he’d be a good one to ask – right?

  4. Barb says:

and – now I clicked on the picture – when I read state, I figured you meant you found one in Oregon or something. That’s funny.

  5. Debbie says:

This looks like a way cheaper option Barb – http://www.heartlandamerica.com/browse/item.asp?PIN=129319&DL=GAW1&SC=WIG20001&

Heck as short as your commute is, you could just hang your head out the window if your windshield ever gets frosted in your garage. 😉

Looking forward to seeing everyone tonight.

    Merry Winter Solstice!!

  6. Steve says:

Debbie said exactly what I thought- you commute is no more than 5 minutes. Your car doesn’t even have a chance to warm up.

Damn it’s windy out. A little suffering this afternoon will do the trick. My neck is feeling better but my legs are still sore form the run on Wednesaday… pretty sad.

Looking forwards to seeing everyone tonight!!

Sorry we wont be able to make it tonight, we are packing the dogs, way too many gifts and hopefully a few items of clothing if there is room for a 5am departure to the north. Can you tell I’m thrilled?

Planning on leaving the office in about an hour, if nothing blows up in the next 60 minutes. It’s been a hell of a week!

Going to try to get an hour or so of running in, I’m not looking forward to that wind. I may wimp out and just do tomorrow’s bike workout (since I wont be able to do anything tomorrow).

Am I missing something? Everything checked out find during your appointment but you are sure you will need a root canal? As someone who has had two can tell you, there is very little guessing involved…if you need one you will know it. (and honestly, while not fun neither was as bad as I imagined, this from someone who *HATES* the dentist).

  8. I’ve had sporadic discomfort, but not enough to warrant action yet.

    Safe travels.

  9. Barb says:

    Debbie -aren’t you funny.
Actually – I’m thinking a shamwow or some sort of rag to just wipe off the windows.
