Big Nerd Food Ranch

I am pressed for time this morning. I will quickly mention that I did zip-line yesterday (more on this tomorrow, I hope).

This is not me, but it is the guy who went right before I did — this is the first zip-line of three that we did.

I am glad that I did not weigh myself prior to coming to Banning Mills as I have been eating entirely too much (seriously, do “normal” people eat three full meals a day?) and fear attempting to put on pants that don’t have integrated elastic. Needless to say, I’m going to have to change things up when I return ITP.

Today we will be split into teams and required to write an app whose specifications are dictated to us. I’m more than a little nervous about this as I doubt that we’ll get to select team members and I am not certain I can pull off the things the app is supposed to do.

Find out tomorrow…

Oh yeah, if you like cycling this coming weekend provides a double-header of fun with the East Atlanta Criterium on Saturday and the Grant Park Criterium on Sunday. I’ll be out on Saturday weather permitting, why not join me.

Cheers,
Paulie [eatl/ga]

Bike racing? In Atlanta? What a concept!!

That zip line does look like fun.

A steady light rain last night precluded much fun outdoors last night. I made dinner for the mizzus (ummm Skyline!) and made it a pretty early evening.

We caught up on some of “So you think you can dance”. I know this isn’t a target audience for them, but damn that is a good show. Genuine competition, lot’s of eye candy, we enjoy it. A guilty pleasure.
