Off Day

All having a rough go this morning with no time to write other than these few moments while I await the car rental company to get their act together.

    Maybe I will just pot a photo of eyeglasses. I am at RDU awaiting the arrival of ITP-Reader Lisa.

    Wa wa waaaa.. as Sani would say- “talk amongst yourselves”

    An interesting visit with the oncologist yesterday. A nice Indian woman (dot, not feather 🙂 and we went over options… the one she was puching was seeds and then daily radiation for 5 weeks (!!!). We’ll know more after the MRI next Monday and ultrasound after that.

    Martha, the pictures of the house look great!!

    I had an exciting day yesterday, something like out of a bad comedy…

    We’ve been waiting on the second draw check for the renovation, it was cut on 1/23 and mailed (from Indy) on 1/25…it finally made it to Atlanta Monday…(yes, almost 10 days after it was cut, apparently it came by Pony Express). It took another two days for them to attempt delivery…however, the bank sent it to the wrong address (USPS won’t deliver certified mail to a vacant house)…so I spent yesterday, running back and forth to the post office and cruising the ‘hood for mail trucks. You see the contractor will stop working if he’s not getting paid. would have guessed?? At one point, I saw three mail trucks all going in different directions…I panicked, then just laugh and went home. I later did find my postal carrier, he promised it would be waiting for me at the office first thing this morning and it was…

    Of course the ladies working the desks could not understand HOW I knew it was there if I didn’t have ‘the piece of paper’…I tried to explain that you could track mail via the ‘internet’….no idea what I was talking about but at least I have the check and Jerry it taking it Corey today.

    Have I mentioned Jerry got a new job and he will be spending a few days next week in Miami for training? Yeah, me time!!
