What’s That Chill In The Air?

It seems as hints of Autumn are showing themselves. As I write this at 7:09 EDT the sky is darker than it’s been at this hour for some time and there is a distinct chill in the air.

Night three of German 1.1 went okay, and though I know that I will miss at least one session of German 1.2, that starts at the end of September and goes at a non-breakneck speed of once/week, I will be registering for that today. Grace, block off all Tuesday nights in October and November! (slight “Glengarry Glen Ross” homage for you).

Today’s life interruption is my physical scheduled for 10am. I must remember not to eat or drink anything except water this morning, my last meal and non-water beverage was at 5:30pm yesterday. I also must remember to drink ample amount of water this morning to ensure my ability to perform the necessary function of peeing in a cup later.

For those wondering I have yet to pre-order a new iPhone, I’m still weighing my options, nor have I downloaded iOS 8 to any of my daily-use devices because I have no need to be a guinea pig for this version so I will wait a week or so.

Have a great day friends!

Cheers,
Paulie [eatl/ga]

Allan updated & backed up my phone a couple days ago, I have the new iOS8. So far I haven’t noticed anything too different.

iOS 8 is primarily an “under the covers” release. Mac users will see benefits when apps start communicating with Macs when Yosemite ships.

I hate when I have to work!!

I managed to run for 40 minutes or so with Boner last night. A few odd faces attended last night’s Third Wednesday- Rat’s Ass, Andrea, and Aggie showed up with his family, but I don’t think he got the word about 3W.

In case you are looking for a very nice Mercedes coupe, there is one in the parking lot across the street, next to “the club” that has 2 boots. The Florida tags make me guess the car was stolen. I tried to call Midtown Blue and have them run the plate, but could never talk to a human. Curious.

Martha, cute pic of the Nibster.
