Who Is Sarah Ann Wrap?

It’s the question sweeping the nation this morning. Okay, it’s the question sweeping the ITP Nation this morning.

Sarah Ann Wrap, Saran Wrap to her friends, is a name I threw out during last night’s trivia contest while we were trying to name the two women who attempted to assassinate President Ford. Aron knew that one of the names immediately but couldn’t think of the other, though he thought that it was a two-name first name.

After suggesting Peggy Sue, Barbara Ann, and Sarah Lee, to name a few, Aron thought it was Sarah something. My next suggestion was Sarah Ann Wrap. ITP-Reader Stacy looked at me quizzically until I said the name quickly, which made it sound like Saran Wrap.

We thought it was funny.

We didn’t need much help in taking victory last night, but giving us questions like “How many bits make up a typical byte?” to a programmer and “What professional sports team is the only publicly-held team?” to a die hard Packers fan, made it even easier for us.

We played for the first time at Camelli’s in L5P. The food was good, the DJ was acceptable and we now have $30 in bar cash, so I’m certain we’ll return at some time.

Back In The Office Today
Though I’d rather not be ’cause some shits going to hit fans today.

Back On The Bike This Morning
I thought the early morning drizzle would run my ride, but thankfully it didn’t. I can’t say that I much enjoyed the associated humidity, but the ride itself was acceptable.

What a difference starting twenty minutes later than normal, and now having school in session makes. There were so many more cars on the road today than any other ride that I’ve made this summer.

What Will I Do This Weekend?
Your guess is as good as mine.

I’ll blog more about Plywood Presents on Monday. I’ve got to see if I can avoid some of the fan-hitting shit today. 😉

Cheers,

How many bits in a byte isn’t trivia to us geeks! That’s my bread and butter.

We picked up a Bush Hog that Nicole sold us yesterday. It will come in handy when we finally get some land cleared and need to clean up the little stuff. And we need to do some trail maintenance for the fox hunt.

I have my clothes with me to run at lunch- hopefully, the weather will hold, or I might just run in the rain if it isn’t coming down too hard.

I guess I better look over my mountain bike if it’s going to be ridden on the Wheelhopper on Sunday. I hope to see you there!

My plan is to give the mountain bike a once-over tomorrow. I’ll be riding Wheelhopper on Sunday.

And one of Ford’s shooters was Squeky Froam. I didn’t remember he had 2 attackers.

We were down near your place of work last night Steve – went to Steamhouse with some friends for dinner. Quite yummy.

We have to do some more reccy this evening – Allan will be taking the weedeater (& who knows, maybe the chainsaw in the backpack) to be sure some of the trail is passable. I’m not a fan of hike-a-bike, and it will be on the Eagle (or will it be called the long) trail. Who knows how we will label it.

  5. I’m all itchy today. I wonder if I am having an allergic reaction to something I ate at lunch.

Speaking of lunch, I as Public Enema eating at Pollo Tropical. I asked him the Packers trivia question from last night. 🙂

  6. Steve says:

Even I knew the answer to that one.

I was about to say that Fado in Midtown also has trivia, but I looked it up and it’s on Wednesday.

  7. Barb says:

which Pollo Tropical? are you over here near Cumberland? (he works down Powers Ferry by the perimeter by me)

  8. Stacy says:

Hey now. Don’t forget you also knew Frank Durst’s crappyass band and didn’t we both know something that Aron did not? I remember lots of high fives for that one and him being a total grumpy puss about it.

Oh, and folks: I got a Facebook birthday wish from Paulie!!!! YES!!!! I did! 🙂 If I could post a picture here I would. Sure, he had to *draw* it out….but still. Bet no one else can claim they got any Facebook anything from Paulie lately!

  9. Paulie [eatl/ga] says:

    Yeah Barb, it was Cumberland.
