Phone Blogging

This time prior to the start of Creative Mornings (Atlanta) will be the only time that I have to blog today. So, I am doing it via my now-ancient iPhone 5c.

I am proud to say that The Trivia Team kicked some Royal ass last night, taking first place again. Perhaps the biggest surprise of the Kirby was that Camelli’s Little 5 split off its upper level into a whole new restaurant.

The photo is of the free drink tokens given to us.

Busy Weekend Ahead
Tonight will be the slow night months weekend.

Tomorrow I will wake very early, meet up with photog friends for breakfast at Majestic Diner before heading to Turner Field for the final Braves FanFest that it will host. I will have to leave FanFest early to get my shot together so that I can drive to Athens for the Cracker / Whiskey Gentey show at the 40 Watt.

After getting back inside the perimeter on Sunday I will have to get some exercise in prior to doing my laundry in preparation for my Tuesday flight to Raleigh.

Busy times ahead…

Have a great weekend!

Cheers,
Paulie [eatl/ga]

Good morning from sunny Houston Texas. A fairly uneventful flight except for being seated between two linebackers.

Dinner last night with Debbie horse friends one of which was celebrating a birthday. Then trying to arrange my packing for the weekend now that Sunday’s forecast is expected to be 3 to 5 inches of snow and having to get back to Denver from Colorado Springs. Except for a jacket I didn’t bring anything winterwear wise so this might be interesting.

    Have a great weekend everyone.

hey Steve – I’m sure you will survive.

We are hoping to get some riding in this weekend – but lots to do, and will the mountain bike trails be dry enough? who knows……….

Paulie – I might meet Red Eye for a road ride sunday if you are bored- but it will be very slow if it does happen. Not sure where yet either.

  3. I’m doubtful that I can make Sunday because I am going to Athens with a coworker so I will have to drop him off on my return to Atlanta, and I’m not sure what time we’ll get out of the hotel on Sunday morning.

Dang, I might have kept that drink token. Too cool to give back.

This weekend is a huge cub scout weekend, blue and gold banquet tonight (awards night, big deal for scouts), and tomorrow is pinewood derby. Long day running the derby but so worth it, the kids have a great time.

Sunday going to the camping and RV show at the Atlanta Exposition center. This is the show where I bought my camper. They have all sorts of stuff there from camper accessories to some of the really high dollar campers. These $700,000 campers are quite nice, it’s fun to see the inside of them.

Bob -you are too funny -you might end up spending more money there Sunday – that could be trouble!

We were hoping to get a 1 night camping outing in February, but unless we do a friday night, it isn’t looking good. The only weekend Allan has Sat. & Sun. off we are heading to the gulf coast for a long weekend.

  6. We kept the tokens because we were playing trivia in Camelli’s and not the new restaurant, Arcadia.

We kept the tokens…why? I thought we were having a 45s party? 😉
