  1. Stacy says:

Did you get the special gingerbread glaze available today only? 😀

  2. Steve says:

So do you work from der Waschsalon?

BoD meeting tonight. We get to finally wrap up 2017, pay the bills and mail some checks, then think about 2018. Oh boy.

Postponed meeting with the realtor tomorrow as we aren’t quite ready. The blizzard did set us back a bit.

My vent for the day is – it sucks trying to work from home with no access to files. Everything is taking longer than it should and progress is glacial! And now I want a donut.

  4. Oh yeah, I watched “A Year Without A Santa Claus” (think “Heatmeiser”) last night and for the first time saw that they snuck Charlie Chaplin into the street crowd in Southtown in one scene.

    • Barb says:

Allan & I need to work on our Heatmeiser & Snowmeiser costumes for Halloween some year. We’ve got part of the Heatmeiser costume already.
Guess I need to watch the show again. its been a few years.

  5. Barb says:

    I think I’m in the minority – I rarely crave a donut.

    • As I get older I prefer savory over sweet. KK is really the only breakfast option of which I know within walking distance of the Waschsalon.

      • Stacy says:

You’re just asking the wrong peoples. 😉 Check out Madre & Mason (5th & Durant). They often have a split shift (7-10am breakfast; 5-10pm dinner). Even closer than KK.

      • Steve says:

At a former employer, we’d frequently gets donuts every Friday… Dunkin’ Donuts. I can barely get them down now. The boxes had a “proof of purchase” stamp, which I collected. I had a hundred of the damn things, only to learn they never did anything with them. Not that I’m bitter…

  6. Stacy says:

Since we’re all talking about it? DOUGHNUT SALE ALERT!

Wear an ugly holiday sweater on Friday and get BOGO dozen donuts at KK. 🙂

  7. Well, somebody’s not getting a Christmas card. I just realized that I have three stamps remaining from my book 20 and I mailed off 18 cards. Dangen! I used to be so much more methodical about tasks like this.
