Yesterday’s fortune cookie read: “The project you have in mind will soon gain momentum.” Huh, interesting.

Don’t know how I will make the time, but I need to return to working out, finish my German homework, and work an eight-hour workday, all before my 6:00pm German class.

Tuesday Tale of the Tape: 215.4 pounds. Considering how undisciplined I have been the past four days this is acceptable.

  2. Think that I will attempt a run jog/walk *gasp* at lunch(ish) time instead of trying to get to LA Fitness today; this should save me about thirty minutes of downtime.

It’s tough to cram it all in, you have to sacrifice somewhere. Usually it’s sleep that looses when you have a goal in mind for work/school/exercise. I usually have to put a target out there to work towards.

Been crazy at the Knoll house lately, Travis had the flu, Laura has the flu, bought a camper, trying to sell a camper but discovered a crack in the roof, put a bicycle up for sale. Trying to get everything ironed out and everyone healthy before I leave for Ocala next week (and try to not get sick in the process). Oh yeah, I also get to do a 6 hour race I have not trained for. Fun times!

Glad to have spent the night in my own bed. A 23 hour travel day is pretty long. We got up at 4:30 AM local time to be on the bus at 5:30. Three hours by bus to get to Dublin airport, and was able to clear US customs there. I asked the TSA guy in Dublin if he was an American to which he replied yes. I asked how you get this gig and he said being very lucky.

I really didn’t sleep on the long flight to Newark but managed to sleep most of the way home to Atlanta. There was one guy a couple of rows back that I think talked the entire flight, which just annoys the shit out of me since I can’t really understand what he saying I just hear his voice.

    Back into the office tomorrow.

So – my work saga gets better – 1 girl is out for 4 weeks for JURY DUTY.
Another is out sick, another has the day off for a doctor appt.
    This place is ridiculous.

I can’t wait to go on vacation (leaving Friday) – but just damn, my stuff is gonna be so messed up when I get back.

Have you started on the lists yet? Start a little notepad doc on your PC and just jot things down as they come to you. Make it more formal later. It looks like a huge undertaking, but just take small steps and you’ll get there.

  6. Forgot to mention that I am experiencing a flat rear tire on my trainer again! When I went to ride on Thursday it was flat; I pumped it up and rode. When I checked last night it was completely flat again. I can’t understand what is happening. If I have the gumption tonight I guess I should take the wheel off and check the tube.

Time and money are the two fundamental commodities.

We all have the same 24 hours per day.
    Even Bill Gates, etc.

However, some make better use of their 24 hours than others.

    “Make it a nice day…”

  8. You know that sloth in the Geico ad? That’s how I felt on my walk/jog today.
