  1. ITP Lurker says:

Leaving this here for Barb. Hopefully it applies way more to your previous job than the new gig: https://work.qz.com/1237505/why-youre-bored-at-work-and-what-to-do-about-it/

I love Quartz. Rare is the day when I’m not amused or otherwise made to think by one of their articles.

  2. Life at “XYZ Corp” continues to be “interesting”. Over the past few weeks we’ve lost another handful of employees, and today a guy returned from FLMA. Seriously, I don’t think that I have seen this guy in the office since last November.

  3. Steve says:

My head was spinning a bit last night so it was pretty quiet. Lola is having her lady bits removed today- our regular vet couldn’t do the job as they don’t have the literal muscle to lift a sedated 140lb Great Dane onto the operating table. Debbie dropped her off on the way to work in LaGrange.

Auction at Richey Bros tomorrow. I’ve already bid on a few things online- I wonder what I’ll do with a 20 ft container!!

    • Barb says:

Really? a 20′ container? why do you need that? more storage?

      • Steve says:

Hay! Or at least keeping the hay from migrating back into my workshop! Currently, hay is being stored in the 3rd stall of the barn, but there are rumors of a 3rd horse showing up, which would then require space for the hay somewhere else.

  4. Scouting a backup trail/ending for Monday’s hash. Good thing I get Good Friday off tomorrow so I can make a final decision about the tail.

Barb, if you run Blue Moon on Saturday night (starts by Red Hare) you may get to meet Glory Mole.

    • Barb says:

I’m very bummed (but not) we will be missing the Blue Moon hash Saturday night due to previously scheduled massages. Allan really needs his massage.
I was with Breaststroke Tuesday night & she told me what she was planning.
Maybe depending on the timing, we can come to the end.

  5. Weak-minded Paulie just ate a Sublime donut. It has been a calorie-filled morning.

    • Steve says:

We’re raising money for our “United Way” campaign. There were donuts for breakfast and I hear ice cream after lunch.
