    good morning –
    Fairly busy weekend –
We went to see a band at Dixie Tavern with some friends (they are related to people in the band) Saturday night.
Band was a 90s chick rock band. I missed out on some of this music when I was younger, I knew some of the songs, but certainly not most of them.

Went to see The Book Club with some girl friends Sunday afternoon while Allan was at Hamilton – this movie is about as chick flicky as it could possibly be. Entertaining, but so predictable.

tonight we are thinking we will head to Jasper to hang out with the BRAG folks for a couple hours, its only about an hour up there.
I think I read there was a little storm action up in Dalton yesterday, we got Nothing in Marietta. We may have to actually water the grass………

    Well..
Had a nice dinner out Friday night and came home to an AC that wasn’t C’ing. Did a power reset Saturday morning which didn’t help. Called our HVAC guy (fox hunt friend) who was finally able to show up around 10PM! 2 capacitors later and cool air is back!
30 miles Saturday on the road bike and almost dodged all the storms. Debbie dropped me off in Alvaton and pointed north and said, “I hope you’re not riding that way” and of course I was. Went on some of the roads I commonly roade from the old farm and had a couple spots picked out to take refuge. One worked perfectly- friends with a porch, not home, and their dogs were out. Score! Got home a half hour before the next big frog choker came by.

Sunday, lit up the rest of the fence, tried to replace mower blades (could only get one off) and was ready to finally mow when the rain started back up!! Hopefully tonight.

oh yeah – I need to put in my notice here today, will do that after lunch.
the deal I got money wise wasn’t as good as I’d like, but I’m really over this new place, I just can’t take the boredom.
I didn’t tell (or won’t tell) either place that – but, that’s really why.

Sometimes it’s better the devil you know. A more manageable workload is worth not as much $$ as you hoped. Good for you for shaking things up.
