Finally saw “Baby Driver” last night; a “must see” if you have lived in Atlanta for awhile, even if it is far from geographically accurate.

Tuesday Tale of the Tape: 206.0 pounds (+0.8 from last week’s weigh-in), whoops!

Heading back to Atlanta. No more vacation at friends lake houses.

What time is lunch tomorrow? At the BBQ place?

Baby Driver was fun, glad I saw it before Spacey’s downfall. Perfect integration of the song “Hocus Pocus” by Focus. I still contend the world needs more yodeling.

New Realm Brewing: Been there, done that. I am clearly not the demographic they’re trying to attract. First off, there’s no wait staff, at least on the upstairs deck. It was hot hefore sunset but pleasant after sundown. Great views. but $7 for 14 oz pours from disaffected hipster servers annoyed me. Especially when they let the “you pour it yourself” water cooler run dry, and then ignored requests to refill it. Food was fine, but for those prices I want some service. I’m glad I went, and will wait until they have some competition to return. The biking part was fun.

Oh yeah, we ended up eating dinner adjacent to some hashers Sunday night at Grant Central in EAV. Heard “Blah, blah, blah Black Sheep blah, blah, blah Hash. 🙂

Hardly have time to check in… shoveled out the in-box, submitted my invoice for officiating the race, printed the tech guide for this weeks’ race!

Went to our Goodyear yesterday to have them look at the rear tires which have been singing for a while. “2 Goodyear tires, mount, balance, etc.. $415.” Me, OK. Service writer, “Oh, we don’t have any in stock”. Me, “What do you have in stock?” “Kelly’s, just like your front tires… $200!” SOLD!

Debbie was pissed the other week when she went to her appointment with them and they didn’t have her tires in stock… WTF,O?

Traffic in this town sucks. I have not missed the interstates.

Coming back from Augusta, I got stopped before Covington and was in heavy traffic (walking pace) for a half hour. Some sort of rollover accident- one on the right shoulder and several in the median. Cops, fire trucks, wreckers everywhere. One of the reasons I skipped yesterday.

  6. Picked an “interesting” time to forget to zip up, only noticing as I entered a crowded elevator. 😂😂😂
