T-minus 2 until my birthday. Woot?

Bagels, Waschsalon, Work. Woot?

A panoramic shot of downtown Edmonton that I took with my iPhone last Monday. Good thing I didn’t rely on my camera for all my shots that day.

Huh, my photo looks a lot blurrier here than on Flickr. No woot!

Doing anything fun on your birthday?

    • Trying to decide what to do tomorrow — cycling? ATLUTD watching at Midway? Something else?

It’s a Black Sheep Sunday, so hashing. It’ll be so hot that I might even look forward to sitting on the ice.

      • Stacy says:

Oh fun. I will not be hashing Sunday (shocker, right?) but will be Monday! I promised Davey I would come out and it should be fun. I’m doing the Battle of Atlanta walking tour in your neighborhood Sunday morning. They moved the time to an earlier start (9am) which should be nicer weather-wise. God will just have to forgive me for skipping church this week now. 😉

      • Barb says:

we may got o Black Sheep on Sunday.

  2. Yesterday turned out to be another meat day because there was chicken on the salad delivered for my lunch and I was too lazy to pick it all out.

So – Book of Mormon was incredibly hilarious – I don’t know enough about the Mormon religion, but after seeing this play, I don’t see how anyone could believe that story to make this religion begin. It is as bad a Scientology. I had such a good time, and happy hour/dinner before with Stacy, Jenka, Kevin & Allan made the night even better. The audience was so into the play too, I think that made it even funnier. I would love to see this one again, I missed a few of the jokes.

    • Jenka says:

I have not been reading the blog a lot lately (sorry, Paulie, my new job takes up most of my bandwidth!) but it was great to see Barb and Stacy (and Allan!) last night! I do like that place, the service started out slow but picked up. Did you guys ever get your pretzel? I don’t think so!

  4. It appears as if I lost/left one of my black arm covers in Canada. Rats! I’ll have to double-check my duffel bag when I get home later.

  5. In making dinner last night I discovered that I really need to clear out my old spices and repurchase new ones as needed.

    • Barb says:

also – Edgar’s P & P has a very limited food menu – but I love it – not many choices, but everything we ordered was excellent. (French bread pizza with pimento cheese & bacon, and a French Dip sandwich) I really like a scaled down place like that.

Good morning from Nawlins. An easy day yesterday followed by 3 12 hour days today and this weekend. Yippee. Moving slowly to start, but hopefully we’ll pick up speed, otherwise it will be a really long weekend. Nice room at the Lowes. Walking distance to the bank.

  7. Anyone have a really good dermatologist in the Atlanta area?

    • Barb says:

      good? don’t know about that.
I have 1 up here in Marietta, and she has red hair & freckles, so I figure she understands my skin.

      • Hmmm, Marietta may be a bit far for me. Pity. I’ll see if I can find someone close in, and if not will request contact information.

I’m dealing with something relatively new to my fucked up body, nothing I’m willing to share in public, that’s starting to concern me. Time to get someone to look at it. Yippee!!! Happy (almost) Birthday to me!!!
