Bit of walking yesterday after a long day of taking care of many things.

Here’s a photo of the mill ruins in Sweetwater Creek State Park taken Saturday to make up for a lack of content.

(about as big as I can make this before it starts to pixelate due to all of my editing)

Tuesday Tale of the Tape: 211.0 pounds (+0.8 from last week’s weigh-in). I was incorrectly optimistic about today’s weigh-in. Poop.

  1. I spent nearly $50 at Target yesterday and still managed to forget to buy one of the two items I was there to purchase. Obviously I picked up a couple of things that were not on my list…

  2. Barb, I’m sure you saw this but Betsy informed me that the potluck scheduled for tomorrow night has been pushed back a week.

yes – I had to call Allan’s mom & say- Don’t make the green jello thing yet!!!
now Allan has to miss the party, he will be working that day.
But – its good for me, because I’d have to scramble to get organized to make something for tomorrow.

    good morning –
I decided to go to the Moonlight hash, but knew if I got home & sat down on the couch I wouldn’t end up going. So, I threw the bike rack on the car & did a little flat 11 mile road ride before the hash. Deposit & I (& Hung Jury who rarely talks) did a shortened walkers trail (it was still between 3-4 miles), but it gets dark early, so that worked out fine. The last part of the trail was thru some of Vickery Creek park, and I didn’t bring a flashlight.
I think I have been talked into the Hartwell campout, but I’m going to come up Saturday morning, and probably sleep upstairs. Allan has to work Saturday, so Sani guilt tripped me into committing.

In my exciting world yesterday I got to mow grass!! Living the dream.

We started watching the Emmy’s last night. Except for Henry Winkler, I was completely out of touch with either the presenters or the actual show nominated. There were a few exceptions, like Big Bang and The Queen, but otherwise, zilch.

A workout at lunch (!!!) then Games meeting tonight. Only 3 more after tonight.

I wasn’t home for most of it, but then watched a little, didn’t keep my interest at all. So, I attempted to go to sleep.

Hey well at BS Sunday Foreign Lesion informed me I need to work in the yard to help me lose weight. So go you! Oh, and eat butter 🙂. (Note: he wasn’t calling me out for needing to lose weight, I mentioned I’ve gained 10 pounds this year and that was one of his suggestions.)

      • barb says:

eat butter- interesting idea to lose weight……..
I have heard of the full fat diet, because it fills you up faster, so you don’t eat as much – but eat butter???????

        • Bonnie says:

He said to eat it in moderation, and that French people eat butter and they don’t get fat. I think he was also just trying to wrap his head around the fact that I didn’t eat butter (because it’s not vegan). 😂

        Hmmm…you start hanging out with Paulie, and gain 10 pounds…Hmmmm…. 😉 😉 😉 😉

        • barb says:

ok – you made me LOL on that comment.

        • There is a lot of sympathetic eating and beer drinking when you spend time around me. 🙄

        • Bonnie says:

To set the record straight, technically I LOST weight when I started hanging out with Paulie (11/30/17). My “lowest weight” was recorded on 1/27/18. Then I started hashing 2/17/18 and fast forward I’m currently up 10 pounds. Hmmmmmm. Oh wait, Paulie introduced me to hashing… Just kidding! 😉

          • Bonnie says:

Seriously, I was *significantly* more active last year (biking and walking) and yeah I’ve increased my beer consumption. I need to work on all that. And for real, the one thing that almost guarantees that I lose weight is measuring food / portions and logging my calories in My Fitness Pal. When you can visually see it on paper (on screen 🙄) it is incredibly eye opening! But yeah, it’s a pain in the a$$.

          • ITP Lurker says:

Being more active usually means more muscle, so all 10 lbs may not necessarily be a problem, muscle weighs more. At least that’s what I’m telling myself as I stay plateaued with my weight in the same fashion as someone who I’ll let remain nameless. At least I’m feeling stronger biking up certain hills, there is that.

  6. Trying to work my way out of a funk before German class. Can’t turn to beer since I am most likely having a couple after German class, so I am turning to food — meatless food.
