I’m not going to say that the thought hadn’t crossed my mind, but it was nice to get an encouraging nudge via text from Bonnie suggesting that I get some exercise by riding the trainer last night. Sure, there was setup involved since I rarely mount when it’s this warm, but I did. I rode for an hour while watching the latest episode of “The Amazing Race”.

Because of the weather yesterday I also succumbed to the God of Convenience by driving down to the Amazon Store to pick up a purchase. It cost me $2.30 to park (a rip off), but it was money well spent as I saw a Park Mobile ticket nazi roaming 5th Street as I returned to my car.

  1. Remember when everyone hated Park Atlanta, the company hired to issue parking tickets? What makes Park Mobile any better?

And did I get those names correct, and in the correct order? You’d think I would have given I just paid $25 to one the other week.

*Fist bump*. I’m here to help, my friend.

I saw on Facebook that Mango Boy went to the soft opening last night of the new Sceptre Brewing Arts in Oakhurst. Looks like it will flesh out in a couple weeks and then have a patio and beer garden.

I regularly see the parking police in my Midtown walks- I certainly wouldn’t be surprised to see them around Tech square for some poor student dollars.

If I lived on a paved road, I might have run last night, even in the slightly more than damp conditions, but like you strapped the bike on the trainer for a half hour. I had downloaded an episode of “Midsummer Murders” to watch, which is a British production. So far I’m unimpressed, but it got me through.

Mostly a swim meet coming home from Birmingham. Periods of damp roads and periods of can’t see your hand in front of your face. Was glad to get off 20 and come the back way home.

Amazing Race- Damn I want to go to Switzerland after that leg they had there.
    What awesome challenges!!!!!!!!

We went & saw Avengers End Game finally last night. 3 hour movie, but it moves along, and now we know how it all ends. Next up- Rocketman (I need to see an Elton John movie). Found out a few places do $5 movies on Tuesdays -so now we can afford to go to the movies.

    • I’m with you, Barb. And while there I could also butcher their version on German. 🙂

and no one totally whined about being afraid of heights – I was expecting some of that. they all just sucked it up & did the challenges. Team Fun is growing on me, at least they enjoy all the challenges no matter what.

      • Agreed.

And I can’t believe how many challenge seems to be altered to Team Fun’s marching band / music background. Coincidence?

And tonight – maybe we will test out the new stove, though we don’t have a vent yet – so not sure about using the stove top for some things.

OR – we may go to Geeks who Drink trivia at some tiki bar down in midtown – Tiki Tango. I think its right near your office Paulie. It doesn’t start until 8pm, so that’s why we are totally maybes.
