Much like mine last week, last night’s hash was a runner; the Wahoo Fitness app says I covered 2.91 miles. We ended at Enzo’s Pizza where eschewed beer, was denied the spinach salad because they were out (I’m expanding my Super Power to food?), and ate a plate of garlic knots, as I do.

A little bummed this morning because I think I have identified two things lost in the last auto break-in — an umbrella, and a small satchel filled with handy tools such as nail clippers, tweezers, etc. All items can be replaced fairly easily, I’m just frustrated that I have to do so. Harumph!

Tuesday Tale of the Tape: 210.8 pounds (-0.4 from last week’s weigh-in); not bad considering how much food I shoved into my pie hole yesterday.

*Fist bump* Paulie. 131.5 (+2 from last week). Today I just don’t give a fuck.

Today is Willow’s turn at the vet. Not eating, vomiting—telltale signs of her recurring UTIs. The home test I administered last night revealed one, so we shall see. Nigel is doing as expected. Still “hungover” from anesthesia and dopey from his pain and anti-inflammatory medications.

I agreed to help a friend with a task today who is moving out of state tomorrow. Also will be eating dinner with her at one of the new BeltLine Eastside Trail restaurants, Hawkers.

    • Good luck with Willow today.

Hawkers? You apparently hashed past that place last week? 😁

Someone needs to fix their website, though. I can’t click on the Menu drop down on a 15-inch laptop because the Subscribe option sits below it.

Umbrella. I was thinking about packing one since it may rain this weekend.oh well, I’ll just get wet.
Traffic stinks (of course) on 285.
It’s about 13 hours to NJ, not sure if we will go the whole way today or not.
Nittany Valley hash weekend starts with a pub crawl Thursday night. Then camping Friday thru Sunday. Hash Saturday is bus loads at 9:30am. Damn that seems early.

After a delicious breakfast of a pecan waffle (NO Bacon!) we ran some errands, then I spent 2 hours driving to the tractor dealer, where they didn’t have the pieces I needed to repair the PTO. When I showed her the part, she said their tractors don’t use those anymore. After finally finding the mechanic who knew what the part was, he ordered what I needed. Grrrrr.

A nice walk last night with Debbie. I told her we were going to ride or walk and with the late afternoon rain, we walked after dinner. Ollie was also dragged as he needs to shed some lbs as well. This will be a habit for all of us, though Debbie said we need to bring Lola out too. This might be a challenge..

Have a fun trip Barb (and Allan)!

  4. In a interesting-to-me way, as I drove to last night’s hash start I noticed the O’Charley’s restaurant in Tucker has closed. When we ended a hash across the street at Hudson Grille a few months back I mentioned that I was surprised to see that O’Charley’s was still open. I guess that I was somewhat prescient. 🤷🏻‍♂️

We have one in Newnan, but it’s not really on my radar. They do a lot of advertising, so they are trying to stay alive.

    • I honestly couldn’t tell you if/when I have eaten at one, but it’s a link back to olden days of “brass and fern” establishments like Bennigan’s and TGI Friday.

      • Barb says:

O Charley’s. Free pie on Wednesday.
I never go, there’s one in north Cobb (still I think) I just remember that ad.

Driving thru wine country NC – not stopping, but seriously considering a VA winery. I’m tired of sitting already.
