Trying hard to reverse yesterday’s negative attitude. Yes, there are still many problems with my body, but I am looking forward to spending my night at home literally putting my house in order.

    A long night… after arriving home around 10:30 last night, I slept fitfully until letting the children out about 02:30. I kept listening for them to come back in the house and about 03:15 decided they were all in. Around 04:15, Brownie decided whatever he had been eating outside needed to come back out, but Debbie got him out the door before there was a real problem. I slept in a bit, arriving at the office about 20 minutes late.

    The Games post mortem was pretty painless. Kudos all around for our actions to keep the wheels on in the middle of a tropical storm. The consensus was everyone who came out in the rain Saturday had a good time. If you can do that in all that rain, you’ll have a great time on a beautiful day.

    We have tickets for Cirque du Soleil Friday. I’m soliciting suggestions for dinner in the midtown area. And go…

    Spent nearly two hours in the dentist chair, whew! The dentist put on a crown about a year ago that has been bothering me, and turns out they aren’t happy with it so they are replacing it for free!!! 😮 The existing crown material was so strong, it was a battle to remove. Will have the temporary crown on beyond Thanksgiving into December.

    Excellent lunch with Kat and Steve at RiRa. I made today a meat day and lit myself up with a Nashville hot chicken sandwich.
