Morning from the waiting room of my cardiologist at Piedmont Hospital. Today is a follow up visit, so I expect a quick and uneventful visit for my $49 copay.

Last night I played bar Bingo with Bonnie at Elder Tree Pub. With my significant experience you know that I had the upper hand and expected to wipe the floor with everyone else. Of course Bonnie won two games, and I won zero. 😢 Inconceivable!

It doesn’t feel like Friday to me, but thankfully it is. Here’s to hoping for continued happiness for those whose years have started out well, and a quick turnaround for the rest of us.

  1. Well, it’s a good thing I wanted to treat myself to breakfast after this visit since they want to take blood, which requires me to have fasted since midnight.

Don’t you love good communication from care givers?

Good morning from the 8rh floor at Piedmont Newnan. The patient had a mostly restful night and is ready to break out of here. Hopefully later this morning.

No sign of ponies this morning, but I put their hay out and hope they will come out of the rain to eat it.

hope Debbie recovers fast with zero complications.

it is a lovely rainy day – isn’t it????
I cut the very tip of my middle finger on the hash on a briar – it is really annoying when typing.

Allan is feeling sickly – so we did nothing last night, and went to be early very early.

  3. This deluge has changed my breakfast plan. 😕

Holy fuck, many streets are flooding badly.

  4. And in crossing the river that is Crescent my shoes/feet got soaked. Ugh.

    You shouldn’t have a co-pay for a follow-up appointment. I’d check on that.

  6. Trying to decide if I want to delete my nextdoor.com account. It brings me much of the displeasure FB did, but has some benefits.

Bingo was fun! I have to give some credit to Paulie as I almost missed a “bingo” and he noticed it on my card. (I was still getting used to looking for a new-to-me “four corners bingo”.) I definitely want to go again. Thursday nights at Elder Tree at 8:00. I won a duffle bag (that I ended up exchanging for a T-shirt), Halloween toys (that I gave back), socks that are in-between crew and knee-high so they’ll work for lesser shiggy trails, and a box of 2-year-expired Harry Potter Bertie Bott’s Beans (jelly beans). Ah, well, probably for the best as the flavors are things like earwax and the last time I ate them they were indeed pretty gross 😂.
