Today’s plan was as follows:

  1. Go to the Waschsalon
  2. Go to work
  3. Get my hair cut
  4. Go to Betsy’s to cook for Top Chef night

All that was placed in jeopardy when my throat became sore are work, and I returned home to spend the entire afternoon and evening in bed under multiple layers of covers. On the rare occasion I got up, I was cold and shivered mightily. So far the first two items will not happen, and though it will bother me to cancel the last two I probably should. Dangen!

    CORONAVIRUS!

I mean, it has to be, right?

Oh dear! The flu is nothing to play with so stay in touch. I had it a long time ago when I was living by myself and it was damn hard to take care of myself being sick! Dying seemed like a good option.

A quiet night except for the pounding rain!! Holy Cow. There were streams across the road in completely new places as I left this morning. The (not so) new owners of JEFDSDR reported this morning that the barn flooded. We saw that a few times but it was pretty rare.

Yes, you should cancel the other two items. (I know you will.) *Hugs*. Seriously, give me a shout if you need to, I only live a mile away! I do have that global warming art opening tonight, however.

Decided to walk out at lunch. Chilly, but passable. Gave my friends at Willy’s at the park some love. They said their business has been dead with all the rain. The lunch crowd was non-existent.

    • Nice.

I made another attempt at a Bisquick pizza, this time following the recipe correctly. It was okay, but still not “pizza” — experiment over, verdict failure.
