It’s Thursday morning and I don’t have much to say, so I will bang out a hello before getting ready to drive to College Park for my MRI.

Last night I freestyled a little too much on a zucchini casserole recipe and essentially made a baked bread salad tossed with some (partially undercooked) vegetables. Oops. At least I am the only one eating it, and I love bread so there is that.

I am trying to remain positive that things will turn out for the best.

Hope all is going well in your world.

A reasonably quiet day. Tried to stay away from results watching, as it will still take time. Perhaps later today there will be a winner. Spent some quality time on the tractor and made Skyline for dinner.

Got a call yesterday from the auto parts place. Apparently, the ran the credit for the battery exchange as a charge! Oops.

Debbie has her shoot today in the newly built out studio space. I hope our efforts to make it sound less like an aircraft hanger work out.

    Happy MRI!

Willow cat and I just got home from a vet checkup regarding her recent dental cleaning. She is purr-fect.

  3. Back from my MRI; waiting for results.

Along the way back from College Park I made a stop at an H-Mart supermarket (Bonnie, this will be a destination one day), and Kroger to get gas for the weekend. Are we experiencing a paper towel shortage? There were now at Aldi the other day, and Kroger had very few packages on the shelves.

    I M really good at spending money…

Paper towels have been in short supply during the pandemic. Toilet paper as well. Demand is far outstripping supply. It’s the side effects of manufacturers and stores using a “just-in-time” fulfillment mentality. The system can’t handle the spike in demand caused by everyone living at home practically 24×7 and likely using far more paper towels than ever before.

In short, if you see paper towels in stock grab ’em while you can.

      • Bonnie says:

Huh. While they were certainly sold out earlier in the pandemic, it seems pretty close to normal to me. But, that may be at the “disgusting” locales that I choose to shop at. 😉 It does seem Publix isn’t usually as stocked up. 🙂

    • Interesting. Over the past few years I’ve been trying to reduce my use of paper towels, so I rarely buy them. I am on my final roll and committed to bring some to the camping weekend, hence my need to buy this week. I bought a package of six rolls, so I am set for awhile.

Hope the MRI shows an easy fix.

I guess we really should reduce our use of paper towels. We frequently use them instead of plates, which I guess is a waste and not ecco friendly.
