I solved today’s Wordle in three attempts; my starter today was TIDAL

    Mmmm… cheap hotel breakfast. Not.

    It took all 6 today with the Wordle, but it shouldn’t for Barb!

    25 minutes on the trainer last night after another long day of “work”.

    Made an appointment to see the orthopedist to take a look at my shoulder. Working last week aggravated it but it may simply be old age. Crap.

    No plans for the weekend except dinner tomorrow night with my Games partner Burt- he has my chargers and I have his wrench. And Debbie hasn’t eaten at the new Taqueria los Hermanos. Always worth the trip.

    I am a human pin cushion this morning between bloodwork for my annual physical, flu shot, and COVID booster.

      My time as a walking juju doll is over for today. My apologies to whomever I inadvertently hexed. Waiting to caffeinate at Starbucks, hit Trader Joes, and then vote. I’m going to The Buttery as well to see what comfort food they have.

      I voted. In and out, the hardest part was feeling like that kid in the Far Side cartoon pushing on the pull door at the School for the Gifted. The green voting card has a giant arrow on one side (but no instructions on the other) and I was putting it in upside down. The stupid user interface on the screen could so easily have added “Make sure that your chip card is not upside down” to the unhelpful error message I was getting.

      Grocery shopping done, comfort food at home, I’m all set to feel like shit for a day or two if the flu and/or COVID shots knock me on my ass.

    Hello from Dunedin, FL. I was too late to join my mother for bingo, but in time to eat lunch and drink a few beers before picking her up.

    And, to sharpen my only Super Power, the first three beers I ordered were out in this bar. Oy!

    Wordle in 2 with the hint using the clue. I started with CARGO – I didn’t realize the hint was so on the nose.

    Mini should have been better than it was.

    I swear to God Ollie is trying to kill himself and me with him. He and George returned to the deer meat buffet this morning and he’s once again bloated so much he may pop. I need to figure out where this guy is field-dressing his deer so I can find Ollie before he eats himself to death.

    Happy Friday! Hope you have a good visit with your mom Paulie, and David, I hope you don’t suffer ill effects from your vaccines.

      Thanks, Debbie! I’m prepared to be down for a day tomorrow if needed, based upon past experience. I was glad to be able to get those done today since I don’t have much in the way of plans this weekend, so it’ll be as good of a time to be sick as can be.

      Thanks. As with every trip there will be trials and tribulations, but it will be good to spend time with my immediate family. I don’t say that because my brother reads this space occasionally, however.

    This humored me. I stopped at the gas station nearest my mother’s house, a place I have been going to for forty years, and met a guy wearing an Atlanta Beltgrind shirt. Small world!
