WLF cleanup is coming around. Had a good night of eating spaghetti and watching a few episodes of Survivor with Barb and Sal.

I solved today’s Wordle in four attempts; my starter today was SYRUP

    Drove through midtown last night, something I have only done a couple of times since March 2020 when I left the office, and barely recognized it. So. Many. New. Buildings.

    Near midtown again this morning, visiting the Waschsalon. It’s been three weeks since I have done laundry and I am down to my last pair of clean underwear.

    Spent last evening trying to dye the arms of Finn’s Sonic costume blue. They were yellow, after the dye they are now green, and my hands are permanently blue and look like zombie hands. Luckily, Finn is making the best of it. Also luckily: wine exists.

    I was really into Survivor when it started and I watched at least 7 seasons, then I got bored. It was all the same inter-personal politics.

    Wordle in 5 starting with FRIED. Coulda had it in 4. I think the key to Wordle is to use verbs or adjectives versus nouns. Mini in 33.

    Midtown is definitely booming.

    I’m listening to some 70s station – they are playing Billy Don’t be a Hero.
    Sometimes songs just make me wonder how they became hits.

    Survivor is a show I like to watch with others – as we have to comment on how dumb some of these are. Allan won’t watch it , so that’s why Sal & I started watching together. Now Paulie is part of our group. They need more time on the challenges & not so much the talking/strategizing, but oh well.

      I think it’s more that some songs just do not age well. Plus there were far fewer choices and genres back then, so it was harder to be discerning.

    I was supposed to be at the moderna flu vaccine appt today – (to get my $125) but they rescheduled on me0.
    Paulie (& anyone that hasn’t gotten the flu shot yet) call 770-771-6151 & get in on this. I’m all about getting paid to get a flu shot.

    Wordle in 4 and mini done.

    Survivor just seems to be SSD season. Only the faces change.

    Today some chores and the appointment with the ortho for my shoulder.

    We both need to get boosted and flu shots. Maybe we’ll give them a call.

      Steve – you can’t have had any vaccines within the past 6 moths (I think) so you guys are fair game! Office is up in Norcross, so see if you can both get in on the same day?

      No riding plans this weekend yet – might ride with some girls in town somewhere, waiting for them to make a decision.
      Sunday is a Day of the Dead hash that ends at Dr CrotchRot &
      Wisecracker’s house. It is always entertaining, as Dr Crotchrot is a hoot.

    Just read that one of my favorite dive bars, Elliott Street Pub, is closing. Can’t blame the owners, I am sure that they will never have to work another day of their lives.

    What redevelop.ent of the gulch? Why the state never built an intermodal terminal there is beyond me.
