Suffice to say that my 2022 has not gone to plan and has been a bit out of control. Yesterday I started the long process of reeling it back in. Oh, and I voted.

I solved today’s Wordle in five attempts; my starter today was POSIT

    Wordle in 3 starting with LEAST. Mini in 45.

    My year sure as hell hasn’t gone to plan. I’m getting better at accepting that and just going with the flow as best I can.

      BTW – almost ate at OK Cafe last night but decided on Pero’s Pizza & Pasta over by Whole Foods instead.

    its Survivor night finally tonight.
    gather 6pm ish – we won’t get thru all the episodes (I think I have 6 recorded) but we can put a dent in them.

    All quiet on the Southern front. Off today, just for the hell of it. Will be in Birmingham 3 days next week working on a new install the contractor F’d up.

    On a BMW page on the social media you don’t participate in, I used the term “idiot light” to refer to my gas gauge. I looked a little later and the post had been rejected. But you can spell I D I O T and have it go through.

    I haven’t done Wordle in days. I did it on Sunday whilst waiting for my flight at Logan. That one was MUMMY and it took me 5. Blerg. But I continue to do Duolingo every day after work.

    We have Finn for a week and a half, so we are currently watching the latest season of Great British Baking Show. When we finish that we’ll watch The Amazing Race.

      I tried watching the GBBS – I’m just not enough into baking/cooking shows – it just didn’t keep my interest.

        Finn loves TAR because they are always jumping off cliffs or dancing. He can’t understand the plot/concept of the show, but the action will interest him every time. Especially if they do something gross! Heh.

          Yes. I’m not thrilled with Heckle and Jeckle, I liked the other hosts back from the Mary Berry days, but it is still a very soothing show.

    Laboring hard in WLF, cleaning up areas that have long been neglected. I also planted garlic bulbs today.

    Maybe this is how I start to lose the fifteen pounds that I would like to shed? FWIW- I have not weighed myself in October, but I feel fatter.

    How did your presentation go David?

    I’m very disgruntled with my horse situation right now, which makes me disgruntled in general. Hopefully, things will start to fall into place soon. Last night, I was also disgruntled with our effing dogs. They would not settle down in the wee hours of the morning. I yelled at Steve, Steve yelled at me and we both yelled at the dogs – it was anarchy.

    BTW, the way Grammarly wanted to “fix” the first sentence above made no sense at all.

    On the good news front, we’ve finally outsourced some of the production of my video projects. That should move things along much faster and I have people interaction versus just staring at my computer.

      Debbie, My presentation was well received, and appeared to garner some book sales. It was fun nonetheless.

      Hopefully your horses settle down. I do think, though, that life is just one big never ending game of whack-a-mole.

      Kudos on finding away to extricate yourself from video production. Video can be such a massive time suck.

    A nice but chilly ride on the scooter.. Down to Pine Mountain and over through to Manchester and backup to Woodbury via some satellite dishes that were apparently in the Walking Dead? It’s an old SETI research facility and was also run by Georgia Tech and now they’ve used it as a backdrop for the TV show

    Ugh, with my update to iPadOS 16 I lost the ability to beta test the two apps I have been beta testing for years. Thanks, Apple.
