Not a whole lot to talk about today. I spent most of yesterday puttering around the ITP Estate trying to figure out how I am going to make an income, as well as how I am going to start losing weight again. No conclusions were reached.

I solved today’s Wordle in three attempts; my starter today was PASTE

I managed Wordle in 4 and had to use 2 starting words to do it!

I broke down and went to Piedmont in a Box at a Walgreens for this cough. She took vitals and we talked about symptoms and whatnot. Prescribed some steroids to try and reduces the inflammation in my chest. A little ‘roid rage can’t hurt right now.

I kicked George out of my spot in the bed last night. I slept well and don’t think I disturbed Debbie nor she me.

    4 day weekend starts tonight!

Wordle in 5 starting with PLATE. I had a fun dinner at Jalisco last night with my friend Scott, I didn’t expect to darken the door at my favorite Mexican restaurant on the planet yesterday. We had planned to meet for dinner but hadn’t picked a place. Jalisco was always “too far away” in the past, it’s lovely to have it back as an impromptu option.

Yoga and a haircut this morning, shooting pool at a neighbor’s house this evening. I have plans afoot for swimming and biking this weekend.

    good morning –
Nothing exciting going on over here – except a bunch of different sized bins came from Amazon so we can work on secure storage of our stuff in the camper. (so it doesn’t fly all over the place when the camper gets moved) That’s the project for today – and figure out which ones to return.

We need to figure out a night we can go up to Red Top to test it all out. Mango & Kat got a new camper too – they want to go to NC 1st weekend in March – but we will be off in AZ. Plus, I’d rather our 1st real outing be closer to home, in case we forget something.

Went on a decent walk (4 miles) last night up to the grocery store – I tend to need a destination, or I may cut it short.

  4. Still looking, and have not committed to a backyard greenhouse, though when the critters eat all my tomatoes again I will be mad. First I need some professional tree work done, but have been dragging my feet at the cost, and my impending trip to Florida next week.

Finally going to see Mom – good for you.
I know you said she doesn’t want to do it – but get her to put you on all of her bank accounts (I think you said you haven’t done that before)
Figure out all her bills (get the account#s, passwords, whatever) & how to pay them online from GA. I think you will feel so much better just having all that information, even if you don’t have to use it.

    • steve says:

You assume a greenhouse will keep the critters out. I believe you underestimate your critters.

Good move on getting mom’s finances in order.

  5. “The show so many love to love is returning in March.

It was announced Tuesday that the third season of “Ted Lasso” will debut on Wednesday, March 15.”

    WAHOO!

Me three on the “not much to report” bandwagon. Looking forward to the weekend!

BTW – watched 2 & 1/2 episodes of Fleishman ____ . I’ll watch a little more, but I’m not sure about that show. Main character just may be too much of a _____ (not sure the word, pushover, idiot, ???). I’ll probably watch a couple more today while working.

Also – started the Detectorists last night with Allan – does it take a while to get into this show? the 1st 2 episodes weren’t grabbing us at all.

    • Detectorists is a slow burn. It may take a certain sense of humor? David, Jenka, what say you?

      • David says:

It’s a quirky show. It’s also a really peaceful show, and maybe you’re used to shows with faster pacing? I’m on my third time through watching it, I think you’ll find the characters will grow on you. It’s definitely a slow burn, similar to Schitt’s Creek.

      • Jenka says:

Yep, what Paulie and David said. It’s a peaceful show, and the sense of humor is quirky and understated. It grows on you.

  8. Decided to get some exercise by swinging a mattock.

  9. Well, that was somewhat unexpected, I just returned from a two hour walk, which took me on a 6.3 mile loop. Good thing every brewery I passed was closed. Lol
