Spent most of my day waiting around yesterday, but that is to be expected being with a 93 year old.
I get a few hours to myself this morning so I am going to go out for a bicycle ride before it gets too hot. I may not be the weight I desire to be by BRAG, but I at least want to have some miles on my legs and nether regions by then.

Wordle in 4 starting with OLIVE (which I had on my pizza last night at Fellini’s).
Today three pieces of furniture leave my house and a fourth piece gets moved from upstairs to downstairs. The lightening of my household load continues.
Furniture shifting and removal was uneventful. I recommend http://www.discount-junkremoval.com for having stuff hauled away. I had them take some stuff away last year. Their prices are excellent, and their attention to detail is top notch. I learned today the owner was an Eagle Scout, which doesn’t surprise me one bit.

I made the tactical error yesterday of not checking the weather before I ran some errands on my scooter. Turning north, I saw a wall of water in the distance. I retreated to a closed bank drive through for a quick radar check and I thought maybe I could circle around. Off towards the SW, then north again, I realized finally that discretion in the better part of valor and headed home. I got back to Luthersville before I was in actual rain and had avoided most but the tail end of the storm. The roads, however were full of standing water, so I missed a doozy.

Yesterday I was completely exhausted so I went home for the afternoon. My boss and I were literally the only people in the building anyway. Back to normal today!
Tonight we are going to the Braves-Red Sox game! Woot! It’ll be a good game, the Braves have the best record in the NL and the Red Sox have just come off an 8 game winning streak. We will be a house divided!
Back from a 46 mile flat ride. I thought my biggest concerns for today would be my knee which hurts when I get out of the saddle, and the bobcat i saw walking the trail I was riding alone. Fortunately the bobcat was more frightened of me and walked away.
Then, upon getting back I see that I have a call regarding my mother fro the dialysis clinic.
All bets about my day are off.
Everything is okay, but okay these days isn’t as okay as it was even as few as five years ago.
Turns out no brewery is open before 11am, which it is now. So, I decided to go back to my mother’s house and drink one of the ones I bought at the liquor store, which opens at 8am, this morning.

Saw most of the “hot” spots, a couple more left for today.
