Other than getting laundry done, washing a ton of cookware, and taking a rather short 2.5 mile walk, there was little to report from yesterday. I was going to go up to the Variety Playhouse box office, but decided to rethink whether or no I really want to go to the two shows for which I was going to purchase tickets.
Speaking of tickets, I will be attending the Atlanta United game on Saturday l August 26th. I purchased two tickets from my buddy on Tuesday since he will be in Germany then. We should meetup somewhere before the game.
I solved today’s Wordle in four attempts; my starter today was TRACK.

A guy came to give us an estimate on some fence work to create a dog yard. $2500 for 2 sections of 75 feet and 2 gates. I’m thinking a weekend of work and I save money. No ride, since we had to wait on him to show up.
Ready to fly to Jax in the morning for work on Saturday. I thought about driving, but it’s about a wash for the bank, so my time became more valuable. And it’s cheaper to fly to Newark (my trip later this month) than to fly to Jax. Twice as long a flight… go figure.

I intend to ride the CVS ride tonight, 18 miles, assuming the weather and my body allow me to do so.
Wordle in 4 starting with RIGHT. After being bugged by all my friends that I should see a dermatologist since I am outside most of the time, I finally went. Clean bill of health. Now they can quit bugging me for the next 10 years! 🙂 Annual physical today. Cut and edged the yard yesterday and painted two deck chairs. Nothing too eventful. Have a safe ride tonight Paulie.
Dermatologist is an annual visit for me, and sometimes more frequently. Just keep an eye on things and watch for changes and new spots.

I have a lot of chores on my list today that will most like be postponed; just not feeling motivated.
I wish that I had a dollar for each time I had to flip a USB A (the “oldest” USB plug) cable at least once in order to plug it in. I could probably pay for that BRAG trip if I did.
We went to Surin for dinner last night and it was packed! They weren’t prepared and only had like 3 servers and no bartender. Why did everyone in the world decide to go out to dinner the day after 4th of July?!
We won’t be at the August 26 game, but we will be at the August 30 game.

I haven’t been to Surin since meeting one of my worst Match.com dates there for dinner. We walked down to Hand and Hand for a pre-dinner drink, and amazingly a friend of hers called and needed her help. Yeah, right. The only silver lining was when I encouraged her to leave immediately without finishing her drink. She was almost nonplussed by me telling her to leave.
Yikes, that is really brazen! I would’ve sent her away, too. Geez.
Bob, I’m hoping you, Laura, and Travis will be in attendance that night.

Another day, another tomato sandwich for lunch. Need to eat them at their peak!
I need to go see if I have any red tomatoes yet –
And – we need to drive down Powers Ferry – haven’t been down that way since I went to Iowa.
I have been watching some of my tomatoes turn almost red, but not a bright red. Turns out they are called a “terra cotta” tomato, and that orange color is their ripe color. More to eat!
I got nothing but green tomatoes – but a couple of the plants are at least 6 feet tall!

My mom has recently developed almost complete weakness on mostly her left side, she is having a hard time getting up from a chair etc.
But they actually did a Cat scan not that long ago & there was nothing. I really think she had a minor stroke, but that should show up on the cat scan. So, who knows what’s going on.
Maybe a little home health PT?
We have that started, (I think she’s had 2 visits so far) but so far hasn’t made all that much of a difference.
