I took the M6 to a car wash yesterday. Although I paid for the “best” wash it didn’t do the greatest job, and had no hope of removing whatever gunk I drove through sometime ago which has stuck to the vehicle since. Other than that it wasn’t the most productive of days. I had a decent dinner with two of my cousins last night at a place in Safety Harbor, Florida. I am always a little amused when I see how much Sweetwater schwag places outside of Atlanta get. After dinner I had one beer at Crooked Thumb Brewing and had to leave before being bounced by security.
Today is the first day in ages that I will be on the road again, on a bicycle. My departure will be a little later than desired since even though I had a week to get my bike ready, I failed to do so. I am also delayed because as I type this, 5:40am EST, it is only 46°F in this part of Florida and I certainly didn’t pack cold weather cycling gear.
I will say one thing that really displeases me about T-Mobile, in addition to not being able to use my home internet to stream music nor update iOS apps, is that I have called twice for support and each time was warned that there would be an estimated thirty minute wait to talk to a representative; this is completely unacceptable. I finally talked to a support representative, but unfortunately I stumped him…

Wordle in 4 and coulda been 2!
I spent 45 minutes in the hot tub after my 25 miles yesterday. While I’ve been consistent on the trainer, those miles don’t always convert to the road. I did feel more power at times, but still there’s an endurance issue that only being on the road will fix.
Otherwise a pretty quiet day. A good dinner made by my charming bride.

It was 36 degrees when I checked the weather this morning prior to getting dressed. But it’s supposed to get up to 60 today.
Traffic was light this morning but the people who *were* on the road were driving like assholes.
30 when I left the country (0530), as the GPB radio host said it was 38 in town. Heat island, indeed.
we watched Oppenheimer on Peacock last night – 3 hours is a long movie. But -we did have a nice intermission to make some dinner. Its very science-y – so not my kind of movie, but that being said – it was very good. I see why it & everyone is getting all the awards.
We are considering going to see the Bob Marley movie tonight since its cheap movie night, but I’m not sure I want to. We will see.
Allan decided to bag up all the aluminum cans for Sal – some hashers are pigs – they don’t drain the cans before putting in the bin. What a mess.
I’ve seen the trailer for the Bob Marley movie a couple of times and it did not pull me. I get the feeling that his life wasn’t that interesting.
it will be a fine movie for $5 or $6, or to watch at home.
but- I think we may just make some dinner here & watch more of For All Mankind or something else on the Oscar nomination list.

Connections was a stretch. I made no mistakes but stared at the words for way too long trying to make them make sense.
Headed up to Hiawassee with Jackass this weekend to hang out with Brint and ride motorcycles. Brint won’t be riding but we will make sure he is all good and has everything he needs.

Customer service sucks across the board, unless you have some celebrity status or are a billionaire. I don’t think this is cheap, I think it’s priced fairly, and the other services (I’m looking at you AT&T) are overpriced. And, I doubt that I’d get an AT&T rep much quicker.
