Whew, a whole lot of spicy food (lunch and dinner) combined with waaaaay too much red wine. I’m hurting. I can barely remember what happened on Top Chef last night (though I do remember who was booted off). And, I’m behind schedule for today.

I thought I had way too much red wine last night, we had a couple friends stop by for bike work & dinner, but I feel much better than I thought I would. (maybe I’m still drunk? 😉 We sat outside on the deck for dinner, and didn’t even need to wear a jacket until much later into the evening. It is hard to believe in it almost Christmas with this weather.
This weather is crazy, I was just telling Jerry a couple more days of this and we will need to mow the grass.
Last night was low key, stayed home, wrapped the last gift and tried my hand at tamales. Not bad, I really wasn’t focused on the filling, just used cheese and chorizo. I wanted to see if I could get the masa/wrapping down before I wasted time making filling only to screw it all up.
I’m ready for the weekend, this week is just dragging. I’m working at home today and will only work half a day tomorrow. I need a little time off.
Off today. The mizzus got me up early to go to breakfast, then she went off with the guest pony for a ride while I stayed home and wrapped her prezzies.
A slow night at Jorges last night- guess a lot of folks have already left town, though there was a guest appearance by Foreign Lesion.
Later today, we will be doing more of the retail thing, as some of Debbies’ nephews are not crossed off yet.
Off to the feed store for some pony groceries…
