Little Time To Type

Hello from Charlotte, North Carolina. I made a frustrating exit through slow traffic last night and wound up reaching Charlotte around 10:45pm.

It was a pity that it was later than I desired, because as I search for my hotel I passed a little place known as T.Mac (apparently the new moniker of Taco Mac) and I would have loved to stop in and show them how we do it in The “A”. But alas I was tired, in no mood for beer, and still had a hotel to check into and fill with my belongings for one night.

How Unprepared!
I would have assumed that I was far more prepared for this trip than I am. Missing from my travel kit:
– Any wall worts into which I could plug my mobile devices. I would up plugging in my MacBook Air just for its USB ports.

– A razor well beyond its prime. And me with a newly-received Harry’s razor and blades sitting at home…

I guess “Get your travel shit together” is going to get added to my To Do list for when I get home.

What’s The Melting Point Of Degree?
Whatever the melting point is if Degree stick deodorant the Jackmobile exceeded it being parked in the sun (with the sunroof opened slightly) yesterday. When I opened my toiletries bag last night I found a few of the items and the bottom if the bag wet, but at least they smelled nice.

Off for an enjoyable weekend and hoping the rain stays away. Have fun friends.

Cheers,
Paulie [eatl/ga]

Have a nice weekend, what are you doing up there?

We have the seersucker suit & big hat summer soltice party Saturday night out in Conyers at a freind’s house. Besides that, I heard a rumor we are going to Bob’s house Saturday morning to take down a dead tree.

    Just getting out of town.

I brought the mountain bike for a family ride — weather permitting. I also believe we’ll be heading out to the community pool to show off my incredibly white beer belly — again, weather permitting.

Have fun in Charlotte, since you brought your bike you should consider going to Durham tomorrow for the New Belgium Tour De Fat. The TDF down here was a blast!

We went to the pool last weekend and I got to show off my BRAG tan. When I take my shirt off it looks like I still have a shirt on.

And Barb yes, please come over and help me with the tree. I even bought a chainsaw and need Allan to show me how to not kill myself while using it.

    Have a good weekend all.

$315 later, the CRV has new brakes. Allan can now drive it without almost dying.
