Dejected

I’m feeling a little bit under the weather today, hoping that I improve before I go into German class tonight.

Not A Monumental Monday
After letting traffic die down a bit I drove home, unpacked the car of all the crap I take when I ride in the morning, and then plopped down on my bed. I’m not sure how long I was awake before dozing off. Essentially I got none of the work done that I needed to do last night.

Much Needed Rest Day
Even if I were feeling great today is a mandatory rest day in my schedule, mostly because I need to leave the office early enough to get down to midtown for my 6pm German class.

I want to rest up today because I have a big day ahead of me tomorrow — I plan to do one thing that I wanted to get done on my birthday, but had to put on hold until tomorrow. Read tomorrow’s blog and you will see to what I refer.

Want To Plan The Rest Of My Year
Unless something occurs between now and year’s end I want to plan my vacation days for the remainder of the year. Unfortunately I don’t have many for which to account, but I do know of a few short trips — LEAF, Florida to rendezvous with my family, FDR State Park camping weekend — and one long trip — Portland — that I have on my schedule.

Cheers,
Paulie [eatl/ga]

I spent way too much of the evening on the phone with USAA, getting all of our insurance changed over. There still is use for a land line. The car insurance is a MUCH better deal, the homeowners, not so much. But, we did change some of the coverage on the house, so I’m using that to make myself feel better about the higher rate.
Today’s project is calling State Farm & cancelling everything with them, and then Suntrust to get the new homeowners insurance switched over to the escrow account.

  2. Well done Barb. I wish that I had the drive to take care of all of the things that I need to do.

  3. Geez, when Barb or Steve go away it sure gets quiet around here these days. Time to shut down the blog?

So, I called State Farm to tell them I’m closing all my accounts – the lady acted so hurt. I was like……. um, you’ve been ripping me off for years & I finally got around to switching, you can’t make me feel bad.

    Brilliant!

Sorry to check in so late. I was on sign in stage duty, so didn’t have time at the start, and right after the stage, I was producing results and trying to get “my” car back from the other judges.

A much better day, weather wise, but less for us to do on the stage except drive. My car picked one sprint and the other got a sprint and a kom. A fairly boring day.

I promise to check in tomorrow morning.

    Auf wiedershen.
