Nothing To Say Today

All I did yesterday was go to work, have beer and dinner with the boss as I waited out the rain that passed through the Perimeter Mall area, returned home, fell asleep while reading.

Boring!

Tonight I plan to do laundry.

Now there’s some fun!

And that’s all I have for today.

Boring!

Cheers,
Paulie [eatl/ga]

it was a weird day rain wise yesterday, it would pour & then be sunny, rain again & then be sunny.

I ended up at Mellow Mushroom with some co-workers, the boss’s boss is in town. Not a bad deal since I had no idea what I would eat at home last night.

i couldn’t get to sleep last night, I guess I finally got used to the west coast time, so I was sound asleep when the alarm went off this morning. I’m dragging, its days like this I wish I drank coffee.

So no trivia tonight then? Totally understand what it’s like after a trip, so completely understand if not.

On that note, welcome back to all your Portlandier travelers! From everything I’ve seen it looks like it was an amazing time. Glad to see that and that everyone’s home safe and sound.

And I forgot to comment back to Steve yesterday — yay, thanks for the rest-of-the-season Badger support, haha. Will look forward to that beer. Lunch one day next week? Haha, I jest, I jest.

  3. Trivia at Camelli’s? Hmmm, that sounds more interesting. I could do laundry tomorrow instead…

Speaking of tomorrow, Steve I will be staying up in Atlanta. I just don’t want to deal with Friday afternoon traffic.

I’ve asked the local lumber yard (Carl E. Smith in Turin (shop local!!) to give me a bid on the next batch of lumber. Debbie doesn’t like being the lumber mule and if they can deliver it, so much the better. We’ll have plenty of lifting and toting to do just putting it up.

If I can get my arse on my bike, BBR might still be possible next weekend- I figure if I take my time, the 100km might be doable. And maybe the boss will let me have the day off. Barb, is the guest room still available? And I completely understand not wanting to fight the Friday afternoon trafffic.

Give me about an hour to get back to you on trivia. Just found out a friend is unexpectedly in town and trying to coordinate around her now too (which may just involve dragging her out to Camelli’s for trivia haha!)….

  6. Okay, no rush. I have my clothes in the M6 so I have no problem doing laundry tonight.

  7. Barb says:

Yes – we will be around next weekend, guest room is available.
Still not sure about BBR – I’m sure I/we can make a decision on that by maybe next friday. since I have barely ridden since the end of July, it might hurt.
And – we really, really, really need to start working on building our shed.
So, that may be on the agenda instead of bike riding. I’ll ask Allan about it one of these days.

  8. Steve says:

I will soon have a barn you can practice on!! I was hoping to hear back from the lumber yard today but so far, nothing. Grrrr.

  9. Stacy says:

Ok, I think she’s stuck in her conference because I haven’t heard from her yet. Let’s skip trivia and resume next week! Supposed to be crappy weather this evening anyway so traffic will probably be a nightmare trying to get into the city.

  10. Okay, then laundry it is!

  11. Stacy says:

Okay, now I’m starting to get worried. No blog on Friday and none yet this morning? Please yell so we know your alive!!!
