Meetings And Fire Drills

So far I have been subjected to both today.

With the exceptions of the two hours that it took me to drive to Tasty China, and the nearly one hour it took me to drive home, last night was wonderful. I am suffering a bit of the day-after affects of Tasty China today however.

Okay, I guess that I should pay attention to this meeting I am in…

Cheers,
Paulie [eatl/ga]

Took you an hour to get home? what was up on the way home?

TC was tasty as always – plenty of spicy goodness.

We watched the season finale of Fargo when we got home – the 2nd season did not disappoint – it was as good as the first season. Looking forward to season 3 someday.

  2. I hit traffic on the connector that was probably made worse by the two lanes on I20 eastbound that were closed due to an accident.

  3. Steve says:

There is rarely a time when heading south through the connector that things aren’t a bit fouled. And after 20, little more than smooth sailing south.

There was 45 minutes of suffering last night, followed by some delicious left overs from the hunt “breakfast” yesterday morning- puff pastries filled with meat and vegetables.

Jack has made friends with the neighbors, who are frequently in their front yard with a bonfire. He followed me home as I came up the drive, went inside for a while, then was out again and went back to them for several more hours. I haven’t made them an offer for him, but maybe I should. And the puppy flies in tomorrow!!

    TC, TC!!

Ah… this is where living northwest of you helped me. I got off the 14th street bridge and was home in plenty of time for the GOP debates.

Hmmm. Maybe you had the better deal there afterall.

Great time with all of you and thanks SO much for the tacky Christmas clothing loan, Barb! I’m pretty sure I’m going to go with the vest. Got home, tried it on, and yeah. It’s amazing.

  5. Barb says:

You can’t go wrong with sequins Stacy. I hate to think how much money Mary spent on that vest way back when.

office white elephant gift exchange – I picked my own gift. And no one stole from me, worked out well. (it is a knife set that will work perfectly for the camper)

  7. Stacy says:

I have to come up with one of those too! (a white elephant gift exchange gift) *sigh*…. so much pressure! 😉

  8. Barb says:

buy something you want, like I did!!! And – wine or booze always goes over well.
