Conveniently Forgotten

Work late. Shitty traffic. Home late. Pushed my trainer riding until this morning.

Woke up. Started doing things. Forgot about trainer riding until it was too late to fit into my schedule.

How convenient.

Can’t ride tonight because I will be going to Horizon Theatre for “Santaland Diaries”.

Still too busy to blog well.

Cheers,
Paulie [eatl/ga]

Watched the Survivor finale last night – this season was actually more entertaining than it has been for a while. Wasn’t the person I really wanted to win, but it was ok – didn’t mind the winner.

After what seemed like a long bus ride home last night, and stopping at the grocery and auto parts store, I replaced the burnt out headlight with the correct bulb (!!) and reseated the other one which was basically pointing into the road. Now both headlights are useful. As I drove home, something popped out of the tall grass on the right side of the road, hit the front fender, tumbled onto the hood, across the windshield and into the road. It seemed pretty big for what I assume was a bird, so might have been a young turkey?? I still don’t know and wasn’t going to stop.

The baby arrives today!!! I hope this is a smooth transition in the house- you never know what pack dynamics will change with a new addition that is getting a lot of attention. We’ll see.

Steve, I am SO looking forward to seeing pictures today!!! So y’all better be posting pronto! 🙂

I need to come up with a clever $15 ish White Elephant gift. Ugh. I’m never clever. Paulie, you still got that Jesus clock?

  4. Still have it, it’s a permanent fixture in my house though. 🙂

do you want it useful or just funny?

I’m sure Big Lots or somewhere like that has a dancing singing Santa Claus or peguin.

Or – what about a retro board game? Like Yahtzee or Chutes & Ladders?

I love my knives set that I ended up getting myself.

I bet you could find something goofy at Ikea…

  7. Got my confirmation for payment necessary for Eurohash 2017 – Vienna! Now I need to figure out how to wire someone money ($275 US, whew that seems like a lot of money all of a sudden) since that seems to be the required method for payment.

  8. Stacy says:

Oh I bet I could, Steve. But *I* would be goofy going to IKEA this time of year. I bet that place is a madhouse.

  9. Also, as I drove in (late) today I saw that someone was filming at Zesto in L5P.

    Eurohash 2017? Planning ahead??

The baby is HERE! This is very exciting.
