ITP-Reader Stacy and her harem of men managed a come-from-behind victory last night. All credit for last night’s victory goes to my cohorts, my main contribution was running answers to the host. I was the beneficiary of a ride to trivia and home from my boss, who joined in on the trivia playing. Given the weather I was thankful for the ride even if it did take over ninety minutes to complete the journey from work to Little 5 Points.
This morning I took a Lyft to the MARTA station; my driver drove a Lexus 350. It was a fairly nice ride.
I am slowly getting back into the swing of riding MARTA trains. I was surprised that the trains weren’t as crowded as they were yesterday. I suppose that I was a little later this morning, eventhough I failed to mount my trainer again, and perhaps fewer people work Fridays?
Today would have been my father’s birthday. I will be calling my mother tonight in order to make sure she is well today.
Tomorrow I will be meeting ITP-Reader Stacy and Aaron for the Atlanta Brunch Festival. I am debating whether I will ride my mountain bike to Old Fourth Ward Park, next to Masquerade, or walking up to the festival and Lyfting home. My decision will be predicated on where I can securely park my bicycle while I consume brunch samples.
Sunday is a car-less open day. Since I won’t be able to get to Black Sheep it may mark my first road ride of the year.
Speaking of road rides, I am still looking into riding more events this Spring, please let me know if you have any interest in doing the same.
Cheers,
Paulie [eatl/ga]
Just a little rain on the ride home yesterday. I looked down towards the pasture and it looked like a lake of chocolate milk. Ugh.
Debbie wanted to watch the debate last night and much hilarity ensued. I guess in a way it’s sad.
I will hopefully ride, as well as play a little lumber jack before going out tonight to hear our friend Doug play guitar at a bar in Newnan.
Happy birthday Dad!

Ponce City Market has a bike valet just off the Beltline entrance.
LOL at “ITP Lurker” for the name alone. I mentioned this to Paulie last night too…not sure what they charge or if you have to actual stay at PCM though? I reckon the Googles can tell us though.
Last night we allowed two poor teams to think we were maybe not going to win at trivia for once: we went into the final in third place. Hahahaha, silly mortals.
The bike valet at PCM is free (although I tipped a couple bucks), but I’m not sure if you have to stay in PCM or not. Don’t know if they would know either way.
FYI I am going to the Beltline Pub Crawl on Saturday, which is 1-5 pm. So there could be lots of drunken people on the Beltline Saturday afternoon!
