I’m Behind Schedule

Boring day and night yesterday.

My morning is slipping away, and I have much to do, so I don’t have time for blogging.

Black Friday, in the worst possible sense in my opinion, has arrived. I hope that you have the best weekend possible. If I don’t go into the bunker that I have rented for the next four years I will “see” you all on Monday.

Cheers,
Paulie [eatl/ga]

Well, I can’t say I’m pleased with the new resident at 1600 Penn. Ave, but wish him no ill. I pray he won’t start WWIII.

Zelda was a good girl last night and slept on the sofa. Every time she got on the bed, she was quickly shooed away and did finally settle.

Looks like the weekend is going to be a washout. I’ll be intown for a high school get together at Manuel’s. Haven’t there since the renovation. And since the rain will keep us indoors, I think we might have to clean house.

    • I’m not pleased, I’m ashamed.

You won’t notice too much difference with Manuel’s, unless your parties were always held in the party room which is no longer there. Also gone is the eagle’s nest.

went ITP to the Mango birthday Chattahooligan ramble & taco outing. I did not ramble, but Allan did, on his brand new 29+ Trek Stash. There was plenty of bike envy from the gang.

And – we finally made it to Holy Taco – its hard to believe we’ve never eaten there.
And – it just started to rain as we arrived, so it worked out great.

    • Boy, I sure do miss a lot of the activities that go on in my neighborhood. I guess that’s what being a loner is all about. Or, perhaps that’s what being a non-Facebooker is all about.

I have not been to Holy Taco in years, maybe it’s time for me to return.

yeah – its a FB post that people decide if they want to ride or not. Usually it is up in Roswell./Alpharetta, this was a special intown occasion since it was Mango’s birthday. I guess a guy named Rusty has built some twisty trails in little areas here & there that it can be done. Allan said it was interesting as a night ride.
Holy Taco was good, a little pricy, but fancy tacos are always pricy. BUT – the $2 mystery beer was High Life or PBR, so that wasn’t a bad thing.

I totally get why you’re not on Facebook. Believe it or not, I know a few of you! But, yeah. There would be a lot of events and gatherings and fun I’d have missed out on over the years if I hadn’t been. It’s really a very awesome up-side to the Books of Faces 🙂

  3. Eighty minutes on the trainer is done! I am one day away from two comsectuwedks of exercising. 2017 will be my year regardless of who is occupying the White House.
