Fun trail last night, thankfully the rain subsided.

I can’t believe that I was so hell-bent on getting to the Waschsalon (which is late to open as I type this) that I forgot to weigh myself this morning. Poop.

From the pics, it looked like a fun trail. Shame the rain took out some marks. Again, a reminder of the time you’d save by having working plumbing at home.

Met with the cardiac nurse-practitioner yesterday. So far, so good. Nothing odd about my reactions to the meds. Told her I ran 3 miles on Sunday and she thought perhaps the cardiac rehab clinic would be beneath me. We cancelled it.

Dentist today, then Games meeting. Whoop.

    • Again, doing laundry at home is not a time saver for me because in two hours I get ALL of my laundry washed, dried, and folded since I can do three loads in parallel.

Glad to hear you got a positive review.

I do agree with doing laundry at the Lavendaria (I just like that work) is a time saver. I put some sheets in the dryer Sunday – I think they are still there.

    • And unfortunately the cool thing we were going to see last night had been dismantled before we ran by.

We have determined that Allan is allergic to something in the pile of maple mulch, could be the fumes, could be something else, but he felt like hell last night again after spreading it around the front yard. (It happened last week when he started on the pile)
I think I tried to poison myself with an egg sandwich yesterday morning, so I was feeling iffy, but I wanted to rally to go to the hash. but- since Allan wasn’t feeling good, I didn’t have to rally.

Tonight we are meeting up with Bob & Travis for dinner, he is so graciously letting me borrow his paddleboards for the weekend at Lake Keowee. I really want to buy one, but I want to try the inflatable out again, from start to finish, getting them blown up, etc, etc. to be sure it is what I want to spend money on.

Speaking of spending money, I think we are going to replace our Sleep Number bed. After I’ll guess 15 years, the air chambers are starting to lose air, and the remotes work, but barely. thought about getting a different bed, but there are too many choices, and I know I like the sleep number. (but damn they are expensive)

    • You wouldn’t need paddle boards if you came out to the hash on Saturday. 😛

In the coming year or two I should update my mattress. It’s lasted this long because of the many times I’ve fallen asleep on my futon. 🙄

true about Saturday, but I do think a weekend away from home, with a bunch of crazy Parrotheads I’ve known for 25 years will equal the fun of the hash. Maybe.

  3. Just bought a ticket for tonight’s soccer match from my friend Shelby. Guess I’ll be a better German student at a later date. Perhaps we can talk in German during the match? 🙄

  4. Finally signed up for the service offered by the post office that will send me information about the mail to be delivered to my house.

  5. Registered for EuroHash in Prague in 2021. I guess I will have to live that long now…

The Beltline Southside Trail is officially open today. 4 miles of gravel trail connecting over to the Westside Trail. Including Bill Kennedy Way it also connects to the Eastside Trail. While I’ve been using this for quite a while now, now I’m not trespassing 😁.
